Here's another fun shot with Krista (first one is here). We got a lot of great stuff so it's tough to pick out may favorites but now that I've got most everything edited I'll be updating with a new image or two over the next couple days.
Anyways, this was done in Krista's kitchen. They have a really lovely older home in downtown St. John's and this exposed brick is from the fireplace that goes up through the house. It links up 2 fire places in their living room and master bedroom - great feature. I like the texture that the brick give and how the dark cabinets kind of frame out the image. Krista has a fun look about her and I love the vintage sign too.
As for things I'd like to fix/change - I wish I had positioned myself just a little higher, so that there was some separation between Krista's head and the sign, other than that I'm pretty happy with the composition.

Shot with D90 and 17-55mm f/2.8 lens. SB600 in a Westcott Apollo softbox, fired by CLS on TTL - camera right. YN560 slave, fired at the ceiling at 1/8th power camera left

The original flower image was taken with a Lensbaby Sweet 50 on Feb. 19, 2021, at the Conejo Valley Botanic Garden in Thousand Oaks, California. Textured using Snapseed, then in Distressed FX macon filter and pith texture.
