My retake on this beautiful installation at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art during the blue hour. Yes, it helps that I live right next to it. Taking advantage of the long weekend to get some shooting done. Please see below for my first take on this installation, taken at a different time of the day.
I realize that the sky looks a little unnatural here but this is how it came out and to be honest I am quite pleased with the color of the sky. With the exception of a few layer masks to take out the regular throngs of people visiting the installation, everything is exactly as photographed.

Soon to close Fresh and Easy supermarket in the City of Murrieta, California, this location opened in 2008 in the corner of Murrieta Hot Springs Road and Margarita Road (hence the name ''Margarita Ville Shopping Center'') This location however will be shutting down, most likely by mid November.
This is a photo journey to this store as it nears the end...

The signaller sets a route at the compact Chinley signal box, where everything is close by!
The Tail Lamp cameras can be seen above the panel, these allow the signaller to give Train out of Section to Peak Forest and Edale signal boxes (both signalled under Absolute Block) without Chinley having physically seen the train. The screens on the left are for train running updates.
The OCS box came into being in 1982 and replaced the lever framed Chinley North Junction that was present before that.
An important location that is constantly balancing regulating the huge increase in stone traffic to and from the quarries at Peak Forest & Tunstead.

Two Canadian National SD70M-2s lead a loaded ore train past the old feed mill in Albion, PA on the Bessemer Subdivision. I tried to replicate a similar shot I took in 2000 when the B&LE's tunnel motors were almost new. flickr.com/photos/jwjordak/25383455627/
