Every year we throw a mix of seeds in our flower garden and see what comes up and each year, we have something new. I have no idea what this flower is but it's something we've never had before.

Does the image of a native Hawaiian wife and children crying for their unconscious father lying on the ground with a beer bottle nearby appeal to you? What about the image of a man shooting his wife? The image of a wife home alone with her children at night while her husband is drinking at a saloon?
In 1910, The Hawaiian Gazette ran these political cartoons to pursuade people to vote for prohibition in Hawaii. The newspaper's editorials and political cartoons portrayed the saloon owners as profiting from the sale of alcohol, or "The White Man Burden," and the alcohol bringing societal ills to the native Hawaiians.
Ultimately, the Hawaii voters chose the option of no prohibition in Hawaii. However, the United States would enforce a prohibition nationally from 1920 to 1933.

Philadelphia City Hall is the house of government for the city of Philadelphia, in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
At 548 ft (167 m), including the statue of city founder William Penn atop it, it was the tallest habitable building in the world from 1901 to 1908. It remained the tallest in Pennsylvania until it was surpassed in 1932 by the Gulf Tower in Pittsburgh; it was the tallest in Philadelphia until the construction of One Liberty Place (1984–87) ended the informal gentleman's agreement that limited the height of buildings in the city. Today, it is the state's 16th-tallest building.
City Hall has been the world's tallest masonry building since the 1953 collapse of the pinnacle of the Mole Antonelliana in Turin. Its weight is borne by granite and brick walls up to 22 feet (6.7 m) thick. The principal exterior materials are limestone, granite, and marble.
In 2007, the building was voted #21 on the American Institute of Architects' list of Americans' 150 favorite U.S. structures.

Dilworth Park has been transformed from an inaccessible, multi-level, hard-surface plaza into a sustainable, well-maintained, green public space without stairs or barriers from the street. By covering existing openings and removing unnecessary walls, steps and barriers, the renovated Dilworth Park now has 20,571 square feet of new useable area (an increase of 21%) resulting in an expanded 120,557-square-foot public space. There will be a large lawn, tree groves, a programmable fountain and space for 400 benches and chairs. The underground has been dramatically improved as a new transit gateway, providing entrances to Broad Street and Market Street subways and the trolley lines. New elevators will make the transit levels accessible for the first time.

Every orgone generator (from pendants to hhgs, pyramids and cb bases) we make is now being super charged for 3 days in the large orgone pyramid immediately upon pouring the resin to insure maximum potency. Our crystals, metals, and resin is also spending time in the pyramid to purify and cleanse their energy. The results have been amazing to put it lightly...

Winter is coming. And every student at Samuelson Elementary School is now ready, thanks to a generous donation by UnitedHealthcare. Students took a break from classes on Friday morning to pick out a new winter coats, having to decide on their own a favorite color and getting help from volunteers to make sure the fit was right. The donation by UnitedHealthcare is one of several they have made to school in cities across Iowa.
Every now and then, I love to make some basic pieces for my shop. You know, the kind of clothes every doll needs to create great outfits but usually can't be found cuz the big companies always focus on the extraordinary.

Every year we share a video with some of the biggest moments on Facebook that year. 2016 was a difficult year for a lot of people around the world. But what gives me hope is that even our darkest moments were a little brighter because of the connections we shared with each other. As we head into 2017, I believe more than ever in the power of this community -- to teach us, to console us, to celebrate with us, to open our minds and to help us move forward together. Here's to a healthy and happy 2017! twitter.com/markzuckvideos ift.tt/2i2KiTx ift.tt/2hTFQIO ift.tt/2i2SOBT
