Yes, I know... another sunset. Someone might say that they are common. Someone might say that you can see one every day. Someone might say that, once you have seen one, you have seen them all.
I say
that, one day,
I will likely pray
to see just one more sunset.

A back lit Evening Grosbeak in a vine maple, on the watch for a Red-tail Hawk. A red-tail Hawk has been diving down the slope of the hill behind us and rushing up on the bird feeders. This causes the flock to panic and wildly fly off with the hawk in pursuit.
Sunset wasn’t very dramatic this evening, but the squall happening across the bay was interesting. This is a JPEG straight out of camera.
I took this photo of a train in southern Denmark passing from a bridge during early evening hours. HDR processed to bring out the colors and details.
The coast of "Cala Ratjada" (Majorca) is really beautiful and diversified. It is wonderful to go out for a walk, jump from one cliff to another and smell the freedom of the sea ...

I was hoping for some evening sun and drove out to a steep farm hoping for some good shot but when I arrived a hail shower was coming instead.

After a restful evening in the bunk house at the Whitefish Bike Retreat Elyse and I rented some mountain bikes & explored the trails surrounding the property. It was fun to hang out with the cool staff including the owner Cricket and their dogs. We met back up with Russ & Laura in the afternoon, hitched a ride back to town in the van together, went out to dinner in Whitefish downtown then hung out at the Amtrak station until our Empire Builder Train arrived from the east. R&L had to box up their bikes for the train car bound for Portland but our Seattle train car allowed for roll on service since it had bike hooks. Elyse and I decided to try out one of Amtrak's fancy private sleeper car rooms for the ride from Whitefish to Seattle since the Empire Builder always travels through the night during this section.
