The more we looked, the more we found that was going to require major re-building. A complete new frame, new suspension and shocks, original front wheels and tires were unsalvagable, hood, lights, horn, engine pulleys, coolant bottles, seat belts, seat covers, headers, side pipes, rack and pinion, ecu. The list just grew and grew.
Then there were evident problems with the assembly as we recieved it. Spindle adaptors binding up, stiff steering shaft, improper types of fasioners, massive corrosion due to missing paint and/or being submersed for a period of time, a single piece wiring harness, brazed parts verses actually welded, a captured rear axle, stacks and stacks of washers in lieu of proper spacers, sheet metal piece mealed into place and this list went on and on too. I am determined that the car i designed and am building will not have any of these shortcomings!
