clearly shows their bogus and lopsided concerns for the subjugated and colonized peoples. Reservation as a tool for equalizing the society should extend even to the smallest private firm instead of debating whether this policy should be either caste based or economic based. This debate is simply an IJnending 'paper war'. Thl'1 simple fact which requires reservation for STs, SCs, OBCs and RMs is because majority o: the people in this country still lives from hand to mouth unlike the rich 15 -20 o/o of the population who has robbed 80%of the country's resources. FPR is ashamed to be part of those Indians who claimed India as the largest democracy of the world when majority of the (.leople could not meet their two meals a day, '.Vhen women are forced to se!l their bodies, when streets are full of beggars, when diseases could not be treated equally to all, when security forces are killing every day in different parts of the country and when people a~ uprooted from their homes and lands. .
3 . . While the debates on nuclear deal is the hot issue of this election, one is extremely perturbed that no political organization, who called themselves the champion ~f antl·nuclear deal, do not have any grass root understanding of the impaGt of such deal on the people at the peripheries or rural arer;~s like that of the North East region. It must be understood that the proces3of implementation of the deal has started in a big way in places like Meghalaya where the UCIL, an agent of the government, is forcibly trying to grab the land against the people interest f0r uranium extraction thereby going to the extend of antagonizing people against each other in pursuit of .
the deal. .

Another very dangerous issue that FPR would challenge all organizations in the campus is that, why till today none of them has questioned the administration on the extremely marginal recruitment of faculty from the ST category? Most of the centres and schools.have not filled up the ST seats on the pretext of the unavailability of meritorious candidates. So, where is the difference between the Casteist YFE and SFI, AI SA, NSUI, ABVP and its function with the JNU administrative system? While the ST students are struggling to get recruited E'Jither in JNU, DU or Jamia Milia lslamia, every organization has totally shic1d way from this discriminatory attitudes of various administrations and left unattended to the needful aspirations of the educated unemployed of the STs. Rather, all parties shamelessly proclaims that either students should vote for them or YFE is coming to the JNUSUoffice. This is another way of fooling and misleading the student community at large and the marginalized and vulnerable in partir, ular. FPR vows to fight for transparency and accountability in the recruitment process of various faculties in different Universities of r1ll sections of society. .

while token mentioning of tr·:,~ issue of North East Dhaba and North East Study C.:.ntrt, .__v.:...y stJcJnl should also know that, it is t~3 same wolf disguised in Goa! skin who are responsible for the delay of timely implementation of both the issues. They have deliberately ensured that such dhaba d,> not come In reality because for them North East Dhaba means cutting 3way the votes from both the Muslim and Hindu voters. We have enough evidence to show that till today no organization has ever publicized the progress of both the issues. We pledge to resist any attempt on the part of administration if such centre and dhaba are materialized without the pre· .

·Informed consent from the students concerned. We shall not allow the administration to impose its will against the wishes of the ·;._; .. peoples from the region. We also challenge the other ruling parties bow much they know about the progress of the North East Study ;:,. Centre when they keep mentioning it every year. No one knows or talks about It concretely till today because they do not know the real .
underpinning issues. For instance, till today the administration has not even cleared the budget for the first seminar which the .
.: Committee has proposed with the excuse that the administration is not in a position to finance. Will the ruling biggies be responsible enough to answer such question to all the students who love to associate themselves with the North East knowledge? We urge the · student community to remain alert on the possible misintroduction of courses In the proposed Centre fur Studies of North East. FPR warn the administration that introducing courses which dehumanizes the peoples shall have no space in t.he campus. F~R ;3lso ~arn the administration not to delay any further in materializing the North East Dhaba the owner of which must be from the reg1on. Bes1des, more newspapers and journals published from the North East r~gion should be made available In the libraries. .
