Alright, I have never (and hopefully will never again) do these Flickr rants but all the marriage equality stuff that’s been flying around today has me really determined to finally get up and say something.
For starters: IT’S 2013 PEOPLE. The fact that we’re still arguing about the marriage rights of two people in a relationship, ANY two people, is absolutely ridiculous. I don’t understand how this kind of issue can go to court and not be called out point-blank for discrimination—as far as I’m concerned, there is absolutely nothing that differentiates the desire for two men or two women (or two people anywhere in between) to get married from the contract between any other couple on this planet. It’s just so frustrating that this country and most of the people in it seem to understand that racism against non-Caucasians is wrong, that ageism is wrong, that discrimination against the handicapped is wrong, but they don’t realize the effect of this type of negligence. And I’m not even speaking as a gay man, but as a human. A human who cares about the love between other humans.
To the government and everyone else in the country that stands in my way: Marriage is a legal contract and I’d like it explained as to how a man’s right to marry a man interferes with another man’s right to marry a woman.
For now, you can tell me I can’t get married. For now, you can tell me my love isn’t equal to yours, that I’m not privy to the same basic human rights as my heterosexual counterparts. BUT these problems, this fight, this journey to equality, is going to be here and is going to continue until you all wake up and ban this ban on love. In other words, you can try to push things aside, you can try and tell me to be quiet for now, but I’m not going anywhere.

The triangular shape which can be found almost everywhere in the Estonian Parliament symbolizes equality.
today mumbai police had no shame while beating up the young medical students protesting against the Caste reservation policy by Government of india.
Students were badly hit and many of whom are injured, this is not the way the future generation of india should be treated, we are no politicians but we are future of this country.... you cant treat students as "terrorists" we do not deserve your "laathi's" Mr. Prime Minister...
students are protesting non-violently... but today we are being hit as if we are criminals.. students are treated in worst manner than we treat street dogs...
We have realised our condition... we will fight back... we will shake this Biased and "vote hungry" government... we dont want our future to be as ugly as you have made politicians... we want our future india to be free of shit like you...
Fuck the government... they are "gutterment" infact!
Gender equality (also known as gender equity, gender egalitarianism, or sexual equality) is the goal of the equality of the genders or the sexes, stemming from a belief in the injustice of myriad forms of gender inequality.

Today, 9% of women serve in the army and gender-sensitive language is the norm in Montenegro. But the military is still traditionally men-dominated. Captain Sanja Pejović, a former professor of English language and literature, broke the brass ceiling and joined the Armed forces of Montenegro. Now, she is the highest-ranking woman officer in the armed forces. Sanja works closely with SEESAC across the region to enable women to thrive in the military.
