EPP Congress Rotterdam - Day 2

EPP Athens, 2-3 December, 2022

As part of the Epping and Ongar Diesel gala the railway provided, for £5, an opportunity for passengers to travel in the cabs of any of the operating locos. I paid for 2 trips, the first being a run between North Weald and Ongar in the cab of 33202 "Dennis G Robinson"

The driver and his mate were very happy to accept visitors and give a running commentary on the line and on their locomotive (of which they were rightly) very proud I it was really nice to see them at work, see the line for a different vantage point and do something not normally available to passengers.

Nice to see this old bit of the Central line up and running with steam.

Been experimenting with landscapes in photoshop. I took all these photographs in the last few weeks in Epping Forest.

47635 at North Weald on the Epping & Ongar railway on a EMRPS charter 25/1/14. Amazingly it was almost ten years to the day when I was photting 47635 on the North Wales coast how time flies by.
