The iconic centerpiece of Epcot is the giant sphere housing the Spaceship Earth attraction. Epcot was the second Disney Park built in the Orlando area, completed in 1982. Nearly 12 million people visit the 300 acre park annually, making it the 6th most-visited theme park in the world and the 3rd most in the U.S.
