Which Park has the best Christmas Tree?

I went to EPCOT extra early to to take a few photos of the park before it opened while I waited to practice with the Candlelight Choir and help the cast members learn how to group and move the guest choirs. It was a fun event, but I certainly had more fun that morning taking photos. I cam across the Christmas tree and noticed they were sweeping away the water from pressure washing the ground that...

The former light tunnel in Imagination. This exhibit has revamped a few times, the ride portion is still open. Nearly all the exhibits have updated since the 80s. However, The Land and the International Showcase exhibits have largely remained the same. The Oceans (if I named that right) updated in 2007.

I still live in Chicago, of course :) . I just have not gone out yet to take pictures of this beautiful city and the surrounding areas. Meanwhile, to keep my stream going, you will be seeing more pictures from a recent vacation in, at least, a few more days.

Epcot (Experimental Planned Community of Tomorrow) is the second theme park to open at Walt Disney World, focusing on future technology and world cultures. The back half of Epcot is World Showcase, which deals with cultures of eleven different nations.

China Showcase, my favorite national showcase, not only has the Temple of Heaven, the terracotta warriors, and a movie, but good shopping as well.

I can buy some Guanyin and Hotai statues as seen here, or I can also take a form-fitting Chinese dress home.

Spaceship Earth is subtly reflected in the glass letters. This photo was the inspiration for the title graphic on the web page for my Prototype font.

The Germany Pavilion is part of the World Showcase within Epcot at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Its location is between the China and Italy pavilions.

The Germany Pavilion is designed to look like a German town, but with architecture from different eras and regions. The Platz (square) is decorated with a statue of St. George and the Dragon and a clock tower. The Biergarten, at the rear of the courtyard, sells traditional German food. The pavilion also has numerous small shops selling German goods, including dolls and cuckoo clocks. The area near the pavilion is decorated by an extensive model village with working model trains.

Characters from the Walt Disney animated feature "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", which was inspired by the version of the tale attributed to the Brothers Grimm, make appearances in and around the pavilion.
