護摩祈願は毎朝5時から6時頃まで祈願を行っています。

While walking this week in the nearby forest, I saw this tree decorated for Christmas with bird food hanging on it. It has been frosty in here. I am sure the birds appreciated the extra food. A nice Christmas gift to nature.

この像は、法隆寺 建立の聖徳太子が2歳のときに東方に向かって祈ったという話をもとに作られた仏像です。

ここは大分県別府市 鉄輪にある、双葉荘という貸間(かしま)旅館。
温泉の入浴は、健康や美容に効果があり、多くの日本人に人気がある。
特にこの別府の鉄輪の温泉は効用を実感できる所が多い。
貸間というのは、長期の温泉での療養や湯治の宿で、
食器や冷蔵庫など自炊や生活のできる食器や設備が整備されていて、
なかでも、地獄釜という温泉の蒸気を利用した、不思議な調理器があります。
この作品は、旅行雑誌へ掲載はされていませんが、編集部の方におみせしたひとつです。
ここは、1970年代に日本の沖縄海洋博覧会の、
観光客向けにレストランを開業しようとしましたが
様々な理由で開業を断念して、今は廃墟になっています。
