This is the entry way as you enter through the front door. The living room is on the left and the first bedroom is on the right. Walking straight ahead leads to another bedroom on the right or to the bathroom on the left.

Seemingly unimpressed by the beatiful scenery, two researches are holding up a radio antenna to receive real-time signals from their unmanned aerial vehicle. The drone is currently flying over the nearby Qaanaaq ice cap in Northern Greenland and mapping it.
I like this picture as it is very peaceful and static, while the actual work is performed autonomously. It should however not be forgotten how much preparation was necessary in the weeks and months before!

One of the best features of this house is the cute bench right in front of that first banister right when you walk in the door (usually covered with boxes ready to be returned) and I never take a photo of it. Those, my friend, are stairs you really need a good reason to climb. I've considered going barefoot if I accidently left my shoes upstairs.
"Rescuing and repurposing granite materials"
We are suppliers of reclaimed historic granite products. Granite wall building block, reclaimed from bridge and foundation demolitions, antique granite curbing, vintage 19th century cobblestones from New England mills, are only some of the materials available at our granite gallery. We provide design/build contractors and architects with historic granite, cobblestone and granite pavers to be used in many aspects of landscape design. Antique driveway paving and entry enhancements, aprons, edging, walkways and walls constructed in these materials gives that venerable “New England” look. In addition, an antique granite step, landing, post or bench makes a handsome period addition to most any landscape.
