The blue Helix Bridge designed by Marcus Taylor is one of a number of innovative bridges incorporated into the regeneration of Paddington Basin. The distinctive feature of the Helix Bridge is that it retracts by rotating like a corkscrew. The buildings under construction are at Merchant Square, the final phase of the Paddington Basin redevelopment . beyond that is waterside House by Rogers, Stirk, Harbour.
