An engagement ring, taken on a black background with two Yongnuo 460ii's, both bare bulb at 1/16th power to the left and right, inline and level with the subject. Used flags on both of the speedlites to stop light hitting the background. OH, and they were triggered with PT-04 cheap radio triggers.
5 images focus stacked in Photoshop, the same setup was used for every image.
One ring to bind her. Donna Marie deserves the biggest gems you can get ... that don't make her finger look tiny.

Engagement 'rings' - hose clamps of steel. I couldn't remember his ring size and I'm anyway low on funds so in case he'd say no, I decided to go for the hose clamps. The original idea was to get silver coloured cable ties, but professionals in IRC reminded me that they have a tendency of going too tight, and they recommended hose ties.
Leap year is the day when women are allowed to propose and atleast in Finland the tradition is that if he says no, he needs to buy fabrics for a skirt - I guess the modern version would be a gift certificate to H&M :-P So instead of winning the lottery for an H&M gift certificate, I'll apparently get to visit a jeweller soon...
Anyway, no need for that now, then...

Got this off-the-rack qipao from Zion Creation. Love her use of fabrics and modern qipao designs. The lady boss Lorraine, cuts all the qipaos herself, but has someone else do the sewing.
