I told the guy doing the installation (I am pretty sure he was not the intended) he was missing the interrogation point. He laughed and said maybe it's more like a Anforderung (a demand). Engagement as a public show seems to be becoming a thing. Now, if you are considering it, think twice. Chances are your girl might not be terribly amused.
Thank you everyone for your visits, faves and comments, they are always appreciated :)
Once in a while I'm called upon to do other types of photography. The young couple wanted some "serious" shots. so I was happy to oblige. :-)

My friend got engaged and asked me to take a few pictures for announcements. This was one that came out pretty well.
I was looking through some of Phil and Sara's engagement photos and re-processing two of my favorite photos. This couple is absolutely one of the most fun to shoot.

For our engagement, I set the camera up on a tripod and used the timer settings to take some candid engagement shots of us. We did one summer and one winter session.

While visiting Deer Creek Reservoir, we saw this couple with a photographer. Looks like they were taking engagement pictures for a spring or summer wedding. Hope they wanted a white background.

One of the first projects I was asked to do for friends. They ended up using this shot for a label on wine bottles for their engagement party.
I learned so much since then, and wish I had the knowledge then to make this shot even better.
I used the D90 and a 50mm f/1.8.
