One of the new Rhb Alvra six-coach articulated train sets was in regular use on Landquart-St. Moritz Engadin Valley Regio Express services in 2016. Recorded in the care of Class Ge 4/4'' 629 RE1334 was heading away from a stop at Bever. Three of the Alvra sets commenced operations on the Albula Valley services as at the December 2016 timetable change, each being hauled by an Allegra unit. The first of the associated driving trailers to complete each of the fleet of new train units had been delivered in November and was undergoing testing as at the New Year. Once the Ge 4/4''' locomotives are adapted for use with the Alvra stock and new driving trailers they will provide the standard Albula Valley push-pull service train units by the end of 2017.
