these little antelopes live just in rocky areas and they are incredibly agile and always alert.
their enemies are mainly leopards and big eagles,the only predators able to ambush or attack klipspringers in their three-dimensional environment.Unlike most other antelopes, the klipspringer has a thick and coarse coat with hollow, brittle hairs.the coat is a significant adaptation that saves the animal during steep falls.

These statues are part of an art exhibition in Budapest.
The New World Design for Contemporary Art presents almost 600sqm of the world of the Great War, which can be seen as the epoch that radically changed the world order of the time: the formerly stable empires have dissolved, culture and public thought have changed dramatically. World War II buried the old world, the result of a new world conflagration and then the Cold War. Europe was bleak in the twilight that the 20th century was dominated by America and Russia.
The exhibition takes visitors from happy peace to enthusiasm for war and bitter disappointment. It shows how the civilization of civilized and global warfare was fought, how the 19th century came to a standstill and the hinterland became the battlefield. The nature of war has changed: victory has now become a function of the amount of war material.

This insect is a Narcissus fly and is one of the banes in my life. The female lays her eggs in he dying leaves of daffodils. The grubs hatch and make their way to the bulb where they feast till next spring. I plant very few daffs in my garden because of them but took a risk last year and now I'm waiting with baited breath to see if they come up and flower this coming spring. Fingers crossed!

The male Osprey with the fish was truly a stud! He caught fish when 4 others were always coming up empty. He also defended his female and chick when a jealous rival Osprey feigned an attack on them to try to get him to give up his fish. No!
