The cobbled streets of Settle. If only the stones could speak... what tales they would tell.
Could decide which photo to post,,, black and white or colour.

Everyone's Gone to the Moon
Cities and towns with empty sidewalks, few cars, and almost no signs of human life are becoming more and more commonplace in most places I travel, with the exception of major cities like Chicago and NYC. Bank signs flash the time of day to virtually no one as the sun beats down on empty concrete sidewalks. It reminds of the song from my childhood "Everyone's Gone to the Moon" and the mental pictures that song painted in my head. It's almost as if it has come true.

Taken in San Francisco on St Patrick’s Day 2021. It used to be that the streets were crowded at this time of the morning, but not anymore. Shot with Olympus XA 2 and Kodak Tri-x and developed in XTOL 1+1 at 20c.
Rain falls softly over the Plaza del Obradoiro, but the Cathedral of Santiago stands eternal — a silhouette carved into the storm.
There’s something magical about watching this place under heavy clouds: the silence, the empty square, the feeling that history breathes with every drop of rain.
Galicia in its purest essence. ️⛪
Would you walk here in the rain?

Eastern Market Sunday
To be honest, Eastern Market on a late Sunday afternoon with Stay-at-Home orders isn't much different than Eastern Market on any other late Sunday afternoon.

Taken 2 years ago but looks like 100 years old in mono. Just having a bit of fun.
It was Taken during Melbourne longest lockdown and hence the streets were deserted.
I’m a random photographer indeed.

When I have pictures on display I don't like sticking around while people look at them so I go for walks and take more pictures.

A quiet street is lined with a row of two-story brick buildings featuring various storefronts, including a law office and a cafe. Two large white arrows painted on the road indicate traffic direction in adjacent lanes under an overcast sky.

ENG: So beautifully empty here! Just me, my camera and the peace and quiet. After my car broke down yesterday on Christmas Day and was towed away, I took the U5 underground line along the new section to see the new stations and take pictures of the Bundestag. So you can also enjoy the wonderful view.
Built between 1884 and 1894 in the Tiergarten district in the neo-Renaissance style by the architect Paul Wallot, the building on the left bank of the River Spree housed both the Reichstag of the German Empire and the Reichstag of the Weimar Republic. Initially, the Federal Council of the Reich also met there. The Reichstag, democratically elected according to the constitution of 1919, met for the first time in this building on 24 June 1920. After severe damage caused by the Reichstag fire of 1933 and the Second World War, the building was restored in a modernized form in the 1960s and fundamentally redesigned from 1991 to 1999. On April 19, 1999, the keys were handed over to the President of the Bundestag Wolfgang Thierse. Since then, the German Bundestag has met there.

GER: So schön leer hier!
Juni 1920 erstmals in diesem Gebäude zusammen.
