ENG: Hi, everybody out there. Somehow it's strange when the landmarks of a city are so empty. Only very few people have crossed my way on Monday during my little bike tour to free my head from the clinic everyday life. That is somehow eerie and surreal.
You can see the: The Friedrichsbridge crosses the Spree and connects the districts of Old-Berlin and Old-Kölln. Since its first construction in 1703, the Friedrichsbridge has been completely renewed several times and is a listed building. Today it is actually populated by tourists, as it leads directly to the Museum Island.

Have you give it a try? I must tell you that since I came to Chicago I wanted to get this image underneath the train trucks, people and car free, but for obvious reason I wasn’t able to. And believe me I tried. As much as I hate what is going on around us for the past couple of months capturing this image made me really happy. Always looking for the little things we can hang on to! What do you think?
When I have pictures on display I don't like sticking around while people look at them so I go for walks and take more pictures. I took a few laps around the neighborhood.

This anchor in Nyhavn (New Port) in Copenhagen, is a memorial anchor. It is to honor the Danish sailors, who died during World War 2.
ENG: You can see the people empty Greifswalder Street in the Berlin district Prenzlauer Berg with a view towards Alexanderplatz.
Hi, you love out there. You know, it's funny how the landmarks of a city are so referenced. Very few people crossed our path on Friday during my little photo tour with my child.

The cobbled streets of Settle. If only the stones could speak... what tales they would tell.

Everyone's Gone to the Moon
Cities and towns with empty sidewalks, few cars, and almost no signs of human life are becoming more and more commonplace in most places I travel, with the exception of major cities like Chicago and NYC. Bank signs flash the time of day to virtually no one as the sun beats down on empty concrete sidewalks. It reminds of the song from my childhood "Everyone's Gone to the Moon" and the mental pictures that song painted in my head. It's almost as if it has come true.
