Kresge Auditorium is an auditorium building for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Every seat in the concert hall has an unobstructed view, since there are no interior supports for the overarching dome. Working with renowned acoustical architects Bolt, Beranek and Newman, architect Saarinen employed free-hanging acoustic "clouds" that absorb and direct sound, instead of a traditional plaster ceiling. These clouds also contain lights, loudspeakers, and ventilation.

We took a Fenway Park tour on the 100th anniversary of Fenway Park, on our last day in Boston. Fenway Park is a baseball park in Boston, Massachusetts, located at 4 Yawkey Way near Kenmore Square. It has been the home of the Boston Red Sox Major League Baseball team since it opened in 1912 and it is the oldest ballpark in MLB.
Because of its age and constrained location in Boston's dense Fenway–Kenmore neighborhood, the park has been renovated or expanded many times, resulting in unique, quirky features including "The Triangle", "Pesky's Pole", and most notably the famous Green Monster in left field. It is the fourth smallest among MLB ballparks by seating capacity, second smallest by total capacity, and one of seven that cannot accommodate at least 40,000 spectators.
Fenway has hosted ten World Series, first the 1912 World Series in its inaugural season and most recently the 2013 World Series.

One last gander at Posada de Las Minas hotel. This would be one of the public rooms off the lobby. If we were ever to overnight in Pozos, this would be the hotel of choice.
On the eve of the UK's European Union referendum I found myself in Pontypridd with a few hours to spare. I enjoyed the chance to wander along some streets that I'd never visited before, and to photograph the buildings and details around the town.
Second class seating on the Wuhan to Hangzhou bullet train.
We were in second class seating, a 2/3 across combo. Car compartments have 17 rows and our train with 16 cars were all full (1275 seats plus 15 business class seats plus a food service car). They can add or remove cars based on demand.
From Old Town (Gamlebyen) - Fredrikstad.
Shot last day or rather evening of January, when we still had winter.
The trees are dressed as protection against heavy digging and construction machinery, the road in the background will be torn up during the coming months, while the water connections and sewer systems are rebuilt.
Handheld shot, 1/5th sec. The stabilizer of the Canon 24-105mm L IS lens has again saved the day, or perhaps rather the night.

A couple has the deck to themselves, braving a strong headwind right out of Woods Hole Harbor. The Vineyard Haven Dock on the Island of Martha's Vineyard is in the distance.
Taken aboard the Steamship Authority ferry, "Island Home," crossing Nantucket Sound, between Cape Cod and the Island of Martha's Vineyard.

Hardwick Hall, build by Bess of Hardwick, or Elizabeth, Countess of Shrewsbury to give her her proper title. She was the second richest woman of the time (after Queen Elizabeth I) and built this house to show off her wealth and importance. She lived to be over 80, had four husbands and eight children...

Greystone Lunatic Asylum
One of the more infamous asylums in New Jersey lore is Greystone Psychiatric Park, located in Morris Plains. First conceived in1871 and known as The New Jersey State Lunatic Asylum at Morristown, the institution first opened its doors (to a mere 292 patients) on August 17, 1876.
In its day, Greystone was a landmark in progressivism. Designed by Thomas Kirkbride, the hospital advocated uncrowded conditions, fresh air, and the notion that mental patients were curable people.
One of the more famous aspects of Greystone is its notorious network of underground tunnels and rails. This system led to Greystone being built on one huge foundation --it was actually the largest continuous foundation in the United States until the Pentagon was constructed. Being that the hospital sits on over 670 acres of land, this rail system served to unite the entire complex as one contained unit.
Over time, the humane reputation of Greystone was tarnished, as overcrowding became the norm (the hospital, which was originally meant to house hundreds, once contained 7,674 patients in1953). Overcrowding was a problem almost immediately in the hospital’s history. In 1881 the attic was converted into patient living space, and in 1887, the hospital’s exercise rooms were converted into more dormitories.
One of the hospitals more famous patients was folk singer/songwriter Woody Guthrie, who spend a stint at Greystone from 1956 to 1961. Woody was suffering from Huntington’s disease, a hereditary, degenerative nervous disorder, which would eventual, prove terminal. During his stay there, Woody referred to Greystone as “Gravestone.” This sardonically humorous nickname might prove more prophetic than Woody ever could have imagined, as Greystone might well be the last monument to a dying breed of New Jersey’s gargantuan mental institutions.

On the streets of Huasca de Ocampo.
The interior of San Juan Bautista.
San Juan Bautista is the Patron Saint of Huasca de Ocampo so the church is the most important to the residents. It was initially built as a small religious foundation by an order of Augustinians in 1552.
Its interior is decorated with elements of gilded wood carved by craftsmen from Mexico City.
One of the main church attractions is the worship Archangel Michael, his statue sits on the main portal, but the temple is dedicated to San Juan Bautista.
The celebration of San Juan Bautista is held 24 June. As part of this event, cockfighting, horse racing, rodeos and masses occur plus folk dance performances, sports events and dances.
