Akem is originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, and is currently based in Reno, pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Nevada, Reno.

I always wince when I see construction anchored into building walls like this. It's worse if the building is, say, a nice old stone one; at least here the wall is just limestone. Real stone is probably irreplaceable and impossible to fix afterwards, so it will be scarred for the rest of the building's life.
