The embedded scenery on the granite furnace wall reminds me of my Chinese origin. The close-up of the scenery brings back a little ''home.'' However, living in North America, there is a physical space and barrier, like the mountains in the scenery, between Canada and China.

A chunk of concrete looks like fossil-bearing rock.

Another light, but this time with the London Eye in the background. I liked the contrast between the two lights and tried to position the white light in the center as if it was floating in this blue wheel. I spent quite a lot of time taking photos of this lampost, especially because I didn't want to have too much light artefacts shining though the center… In fact, everyone was taking photos of the opposite side of the river, where Big Ben was light up. So I got quite a few weird looks wondering why was I wasting my time taking photo of a lampost where Big Ben was in front… In the end, none of my Big Ben shots were good, not Big Ben's fault mind you! :)
