The bus stop sign at work is embedded in a grassy strip between the sidewalk and the street. Using the support from the hollow walls of the sign post, some grass has grown up inside almost up to head height. I’ve seen another sign where the grass has grown out the top, well past six feet high, but I haven’t been able to get a clear picture of that sign yet. (The black shiny object you see at the bottom of the photo, is the end of my folded up monopod.)
