U.S. Ambassador to Norway Ben Whitney (left) and Knut
Vollebaek, Norwegian ambassador to the United States, met with St. Olaf College
students, faculty and administrators March 7 during the duo’s unique national
tour to promote academic exchange between Norway and the United States. “To be
a citizen in the 21st century requires knowledge of the wider
world,” said Whitney, who added that such knowledge is “an essential element of
anyone’s education” and helps improve relationships around the world. “St. Olaf
is a good example of a school that has a high expectation that its students
will spend time outside the country.”

I love woot's sense of humor. I already check in on them every day, so I don't really need the email, but their unsubscribe message cracked me up.

James,
We ended up in Cullman just before the storms reached the city. We took these of the wall cloud coming out of Jasper looking southwest from the west side of I-65 near CR 222. The storm was near Bug Tussle and Dodge City at the time. Thanks for all you do for us. The live feed on the internet was great. It really kept us up to date on the movement of the storms.
