long gone are these days but not forgotten
when holiday wishes turned a little rotten
long nights of wishes and short days when naps were missed
mean another day gone forever so eat up all those dishes
of tasty treats and holiday delights
because tomorrow when i look in the mirror oh what a fright.
Meagre as they may be considered, we will take whatever entertainment comes our way --- and always hard to beat when the Circus comes to Town....
a change in leadership means one thing.
the same old theme the same old sing.
their baggaged agenda contains plenty of history
their claim tickets punched shrouded in mystery.
a party founded on the backs of human misery
a group of leaders hooded with sissory.
the crosses they made
the flames of hate they happily said
we don't want none here
go home go home.
so when they couldn't win
they created Jim Crow and it wasn't a sin
to push people aside and it created a lie
that these people must die
that men of color were like no other
that all women were good only as mother
but democratic republics are weak and thin
the basket is full of these countries and their hate bins.
history has recorded which parties have started
the hate trails lined with such dribble they've parted

and finally pay the toll
learn from the Master
you owe for your bill.
you created the system that led to this mess
now fix it and stop being a pest.
Queens, workers and males all have two yellow bands on the thorax but none on the abdomen. The yellow is bright and often straw-coloured. However the rear band on the thorax is less pronounced. The orange-red tail colouring extends over more than half of the abdomen. This species is usually associated with upland moors but may also be seen in habitats close to these.
it takes a discerning eye to capture the truth
it takes a discerning heart to be captured by truth
it takes a love of earth to know both.
close your eyes and you close your heart.
close your heart and lose the part
the part of you that wants to be held, loved and accepted into the part of you that knows the truth.
so don't run and hide in a world so bold
that gives you a truth that is so cold
come back to the moment of baby smell delight
and know that your innocence is oh so right.
so balance your life in between the lines
stay the course you were meant to find
in between life and death is a world so fine
all you need do is be willing to be kind.
amen and amen
