Series made using fundamental, natural elements. These natural elements and compounds are collected at the site of the picture - usually at the location depicted within the photograph. The depicted scene you see here is created not just by light on film but by melding samples of elements and organic matter from the scene into the film development process where subject and medium are married together, the resulting image created from the scene itself.

No collating or cutting and pasting of external or internal elements into the picture in Photoshop or similar editor has taken place.

Es un error capital el teorizar antes de poseer datos. Insensiblemente uno comienza a deformar los hechos para hacerlos encajar en las teorías, en lugar de encajar las teorías en los hechos

After four days of below freezing temperatures, the shore is composed of elements of each night, minor waves change the shape, as do breezes, this is about 96 hours of work.

Early this morning Mike and I had some time to spare before he had to be at Turkeyfest to entertain and so we went in search of a couple of cemeteries I had located on the map. In all the years I've spent locating old cemeteries I've never seen a grave site that has both wrought irton fencing as well as wooden picket fencing. This entire cemetery was very overgrown and in fact I almost missed a very large section surrounded by wrought iron fence way in the back which I did trek back to and found many more stones among the tall grasses.

Below is the part of the marker I could photo. I was able to pull the weeds back with both hands and read the stone but not photo it, the stone reads Louise Helene Leubert born 1895 died 1901, I was unable to read the exact dates.

Back in the store after Fantasy Faire, you can now purchase all of the colors and try the demos.

One would think that air elementals are invisible, but the gusts and breezes that make up their bodies often take tangible shape just from moisture and impurities in the air.

I swam here yesterday. Bliss!

I call this Elemental Peace as I was trying to depict the harmony between the two elements, fire and water. What really matters in our relationships is striking the right balance and finding peace in them.

This is a fire elemental, whom some call a fire fairy. You may listen to the Fire Fairy Song here: astorytellingofcrows.blogspot.com/2009/12/fire-fairy-song...

Six months after planting the plants have grown and colonised and soften the look of the hard landscaping materials.

The waterlilies, planted where the water is still and tranquil, are starting to show their foliage. In the background can be seen large stone slabs which create a naturalistic pathway and seating area. These large random shapes are the first slice cut off large boulders of natural york stone from the Halifax area. They are then further processed to create natural stone paving slabs. The first slice has one uneven surface and is laid smooth side up. Gaps are purposely left between these large slabs for drought tolerant plants such as thyme, sage. On a warm summer’s day, or when it has just rained, the fragrance increases as you brush past them.
