The third element gave me a reason to play with swirls and strong colours. The triangle is the alchemical symbol for fire. Ink, watercolour, coloured pencils.

I wanted to create a pendant that was slim, organic and elegant. This piece is entirely hand constructed from 0.925 sterling silver pieces and reminds me of Art Deco sconces. The two gently curved edges meet just right and the grain of the brushed texture seems to elongate the piece even further.

Inside the Element

I finished the main part of the water element piece. I still need to paint the canvas (18x18) black and adhere this to it. The centers of the ripples are buttons, there are 11 colors in the ripples, and two in the bubbles.
