Une dernière église pour ce voyage. Mais quel beau final. Parée de son armure en écailles de dragon, elle resplendit au sommet d'une colline, surplombant fièrement un petit lac.

This stave church, built probably around or before 1200 AD, is almost black from tar used to maintain the woodwork. It is one of few wooden buildings from that era that still stands here in Norway.

I absolutely adore the landscape and forests of southern Norway.
