The Butterfly Effect: the phenomenon whereby a small change at one place in a complex system can have large effects elsewhere, ex. how a butterfly flapping its wings in Rio de Janeiro might change the weather in Chicago.

I used Cameringo, a mobile editing app., to create this first by creating a negative, then an effect called twist, deepx. 😄
just going back and editing old pictures.
i ordered a remote today. finally.
school starts in two weeks from today.
It's a tongue-in-cheek self portrait. Lockdown has not been so bad for me. I'm semi retired so have time to sit and listen to music, read books, write, daydream and think. I'm a lucky man but possessions are not everything in life. Recent restrictions have had an effect on us all. I suppose I have the advantage of being deep down an introvert, happy with my own company if needs dictate. Others are perhaps not so fortunate.
Public domain photo of Eastgate Street in Chester, England in the late nineteenth century that was altered with the Topaz DeJPEG plug-in, then the Photoshop paintbrush, then the Topaz Detail plug-in (skin smoothing effect), then the Topaz Clarity plug-in (flower effect), then the Photoshop paintbrush, then the Topaz ReStyle plug-in (silver grey and morning fog effect), then FotoSketcher (oil pastel effect), and then Affinity Photo (shadow and color adjustments). This is a effect on efffect on effect. Really this has much work on the original painting. A greting to all from Bogota. ...

The shadow from another ballerina created a very interesting effect as this magnificent ballerina did his piruettes in the air

I was taking a pic of a WW2 Hurricane flying over the town (on my iphone - as the camera is being repaired !) and luckily I liked this effect.
(The Hurricane is the little 'smudge' bottom right !)
The Observer Effect: refers to changes that the act of observing will make on the phenomenon being observed.
Is this a self-portrait? The capture of the shadow of a tree?
Whatever it is, I like it so I'm sharing it.
And it's HDR.
Added filter to regular colour photograph
This is my last photograph taken + editted for my Photography course I took in Summer 2019. It was so much fun experimenting with equipment I never thought I'd have the chance too, as well as discovering a passion I had that I didn't even know existed! I still have my phone camera (IPhone 7) that I'll be taking photographs with, hopefully I'll still be able to post some more once I have access to Photoshop (or just post them unedited, that also works!)
Same photo as last week and adjacent. First used normal oil painting effect at 75%, then used inverse effect, then used carmine effect.
Sometimes I like to jazz-up a pic purely to make it somewhat different to the norm. Roses are always beautiful 'au naturelle' but I liked the impact of the colourful effect on this one.
My go to post processing is usually done with Paintshop Pro , but I used 'Smart Photo Editor' for this pic. They have hundreds of instant artistic effects to choose from, which themselves can be altered/ adjusted to your own taste. They are effects that have been submitted by the site's users. It's great fun and gets the creative juices flowing.
A gerbera bloom on our garden table after heavy rain, with the early morning sun filtering through the silver birch branches giving this pretty bokeh effect when using the lensbaby, I think at f/2.5
