This women's cooperative in
Doğubayazıt has changed the lives of
many families by giving work to women
in an area where work outside the home
is virtually non-existent. Much of the
wool has been donated by the city
council (who received the wool as
payment for local taxes from pastoral
people in the Mount Ararat region).
Heavy 100% handspun wool using only
natural vegetable dyes, creating a very
sumptuous effect by means of the rich
colours and the boldness of the designs.
With fringe and the design is traditional
nomad of Anatolian Kurdistan.

When I started my MACROmedia sickness; I begun shooting houseflies, then grasshoppers, spiders etc etc. Then my bestfriend Budslife made a challenge both of us take macro flying subjects.... Together we explored the challenging world of macro photography in action.

You see, we AXE Men don’t do the cradle of love and we definitely don’t do any cutlery positions. We also believe that two is better than one and that the more is always the merrier. We just have so much love to give and it feels wrong to direct so much love towards just one lady. I mean, a lady must surely feel overwhelmed at the prospect of receiving so much love. And because we are gentlemen, we always do our utmost best to lighten a lady’s load. We do this by allowing her to bring a friend, a helping hand.

This was my first attempt at the Brenizer Effect. This was 39 shots merged into one. Unfourtantly, in order to see the full effect of the picture, you need to see it full screen.
Meelee is having a bad day, and I looked to see if I had any leftover nausea medication from when Hodjee was sick. I'm talking to Meelee's vet tomorrow. She wasn't working today.
While looking through medications, I found Hodjee's thyroid medication and it is EIGHT TIMES the dosage Meelee is taking. I looked up side effects online since the dosage was so different. Even though they have a different name, they are the exact same medication. That could be a normal dosage for a cat, but the main side effect for overdosing on this medication is internal bleeding, which Hodjee had in her last 9 days with me. The 9 days she was on this medication. Dumb-ass veterinarian didn't pick up on that... IN SPITE of me taking her in and showing them her entire underside was purple. They kept her on the medication. I think she would have died anyway very soon, but shitty veterinary care sped up that process. THANK YOU shitty veterinarian for letting me kill my cat twice a day for 9 days with an overdose. This is why I changed veterinarians.

Taken in the "tunnel to Santa's cave" whilst on a family outing in December.
The colour (apart from a bit of added saturation) and the movement blur is as it came out the camera - no photoshop effect. (Which is a nice way to say I couldn't hold the camera still.) The strolling couple was a bonus.
Anyone from Nike have advertising funds to spend? ;-)

I always want to try to shoot some infrared photos. However, buying an expensive infrared filter (i.e. Hoya R72) is not quite practical to me. So I tried to play around with photoshop to get the coloured infrared effect as close as I can. And here is the result. I know it's not perfect but I think it's still acceptable.

The gauges are large, classic and easy to read (go figure) but the wheel is large and skinny. But isn't that part of the charm?

Theresa and I were driving toward Serena, IL and saw a Illinois Railway train slowing in the town of Serena. We hauled butt to the Fox River bridge to get a shot. We waited.........and finally cautiously drove back to Serena listening for horn blasts and FRED chirps on the scanner. Nothing. We found the train tied down just outside of Serena ! No Fox River bridge shot this trip
