Fans have come up with a term to refer to all Pokémon which evolve from Eevee: Eeveelutions. This term was later used officially in the TCG. In Pokémon Ranger, all of Eevee's evolutions up to the third generation can be captured; however, Eevee cannot even be found at all. This was changed in Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia. Eevee and Tyrogue are the only Pokémon that can evolve into more than two Pokémon, if Wormadam's alternate forms are not counted as separate Pokémon. Despite the fact that May, Gary and Sakura each owned an Eevee that went on to evolve, an evolution of an Eevee was never seen on screen in the anime until DP174 when Ursula evolved her two Eevee into Flareon and Vaporeon during a contest appeal, over thirteen years into the series. Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum are the only main series games where Eevee are found in the wild. Eevee shares traits with foxes, more specifically the Fennec fox, dogs and cats. It is possibly based on the folklore of Tanuki, who is said to be able to transform and is the alternative name for the Japanese raccoon dog. Nintendo fans will recognize the word Tanuki as the name used in a popular video game starring an italian plumber. Al recibir cariño de noche por parte de su entrenador, Eevee, estará preparado para evolucionar en Umbreon. Este Pokémon tiene todo su pelaje de color negro, excepto circunferencias de un color amarillo, que puede iluminar a voluntad. Tiene aspecto de gato negro, sus ojos rojos son siniestros y llamativos.
Umbreon es un perfecto estratega en la noche, se agazapa entre la maleza y espera cautelosamente a que una víctima pase al lado de él. Una vez la presa este cerca, alumbrará con su máximo resplandor sus anillos, para paralizar a la presa y evitar que escape. Un Pokémon con un carácter solitario y arisco, que no trata mucho con humanos, incluso una vez que tenga un entrenador, lo pondrá a prueba continuamente, para sentirse cómodo.
Hay cierto mito entre un Umbreon común y uno especial. Se dice que un Umbreon especial, tiene un carácter muy diferente al común.
Para empezar sus anillos de color azul, muestran tranquilidad y serenidad, mientras que sus ojos amarillos son tranquilizadores y animosos. Este Umbreon es mucho mas sociable, se deja ver con mas frecuencia y suele darlo todo por su entrenador. Es más alegre y emotivo, aunque normalmente es difícil averiguar en que piensa, y que siente en ese momento.
Según los mitos antiguos, Umbreon acompañaba a la diosa griega Artemisa de cacería a media noche por el bosque, ya que gracias a sus anillos, iluminaba y podía ayudar a la diosa a cazar Stantlers y Ursarings.
Al recibir mucho cariño la noche en determinado nivel el Eevee se hace Umbreon.
Rented a room at the Moonrise to do some photoshoots 'cause Eevee was going to be in town and I really wanted to shoot with her.
Also managed to schedule a shoot with Rose to get my money's worth.
Got to sleep in a nice, big, freshly-made king-sized bed in a hotel room tonight, and that was really comfy.
Finally got around to doing another shoot with Eevee, and also planned several more that we want to try in the future.
I should make a book of all of these photos I've taken with my slide projector one of these days. I have more than enough material now.

And here is the doll from the teaser! I thought it was pretty obvious, but I got some quite curious guesses, such as “mermaid”! Very cool to see it wasn’t that obvious at all!
As a kid, this would have been an awesome toy, and that is what made me want to make it!
I finished Vaporeon quite a long time ago but I had problems to make his collar thingy. Even that you guessed on the teaser! At first I made it from cold porcelain, and it look awful. Then I remade it two more times. The third looked very good! Then I accidentally broke it u.u It was too thin. Ok, moving on, I decided to make it from felt. And it looked terrible! So I quit making Vaporeon for a long time, trying to think on how to make that thing! And then, one day, I was in the shower. And I looked at the shampoo bottle, and the shampoo bottle looked at me (ok, no but, it was funny to write it!). It was white, but translucent, has a nice texture at the surface, looks perfect! Then I tried to make the collar with that and it worked perfectly, just couldn’t be better! I even got the lines on it by folding the plastic. Yaay! So I could finally finish that doll.
About the doll: Vaporeon is an one of a kind handmade ball jointed doll. It is made from scratch, without the use of any molds. It is not painted. Has handpainted glass eyes, plastic for the collar and magnets on the faceplate.

Eevee has got to be my #1 favorite Pokemon ever. I like the different evolutions of Eevee as well, but just plain Eevee is so cute!
I bought this plush a long, LONG time ago from the Toys R Us website. I added the bow, of course. I think i got it from like a box of candy or something. I'm not really sure anymore, but I know it was decoration on something that I recycled.
I decided to update my existing Pokemon Center. I've added a second story and a rooftop area that has a battle arena for training.
The first story has the traditional Pokemon Center healing utility with Nurse Joy. There is also a library to the right, plus a PC Box. Various items that are sold on the second story of the Pokemon Center are on display, including poke balls and potions.
The second floor features a Poke Mart which you can access by elevator. The shop has everything an aspiring trainer could ask for: potions, status condition healing spray, evolution stones, lures, mega evolution charms, trainer clothing, raid passes and poke balls of all kinds!
If you want to test your skills, there is a battle arena on the rooftop. Participants are welcome to use the berries growing in the gardens for their Pokemon in trainer battles.
