Things should get better when I have my new computer.

Not quite there yet, as I am in talks with the shop where I buy all my computer gear for a custom assembly. They sent me a price quote yesterday but I want to change some parts so I am now awaiting their new quote.

Compared with my current computer, it will be a quantum leap. And then I will be able to take my blender creations to the next, far more realistic, level.

Just an experiment with the displacement modifier in Blender rendered with Eevee.

I decided against fireworks, and made a grand piano instead to celebrate the start of a new year.

For the modeling of the piano I made thankful use of tutorial of zerobio, although I made the piano keys in a different way, namely with an array.

The carpet consists of 350,000 hairs (!) so I had to bake it.
