A strange effect when a gold star is put behind a translucent piece of plastic. Not quite what I was after.
Simply Red released the single Stars back in 1991. It was the 4th single released from their album of the same name.
Back in 1991 I worked for British Telecom (B.T.) and I would often have to drive miles up and down the country to attend various conferences/training sessions blah blah blah. All part of the corporate world. I would often pick up a CD when I filled the car up with petrol on my travels. The album Stars was one of them. I still love the album and this song in particular.

Alas, behold the humble fin! Nine years earlier in 1948, and preceding what most will say the rear fin began, it was here on the all new look 1948 Cadillac when the fin first appeared. This was before Virgil Exner's finned beauties on the later fifties Chrysler Corp cars, and even before Kenny Rogers and The First Edition! Cadillac maintained fins of various sizes throughout the remaining 12 model years, and most would agree that they reached their ultimate, most outrageous size in their 1959 models. By 1961, Cadillac's fins were all but gone, and have remained gone since. Will they ever come back...who knows? Fashion trends have a way of doing that, so for now, it'll be a wait and see.

I had wandered around the garden earlier in the day, finding only a couple of European Honey Bees and had raided the recent files fo an image or two. Later I decided to bring the bins around to the front so I don't forget to put them out tonight and spotted this Yellow Admiral flitting around the Jade flowers.

The "Glove Fence" has grown and gotten more colourful. Those of you who have nothing better to do will remember the glove fence from mid-February (the one in the first comment). Well it's grown quite considerably since then.
This was taken a couple of weeks ago, but I passed this week and the collection is still getting bigger.
Actually, I should have stopped this week and retaken this shot now that I look at it. Oh well, it's what I've got for this FF. Have a good weekend and HFF!
