Edit: SORRY DX Had to delete and edit it

... you all thought I forgot, didn't you?

AH HAHAHAHA YOU LOSE, THEN >:D

AH HAHAHAHAHHAHHA

*cough*

To explain the hold of this story. During the month I wanted to release it, I ran into a lot of crap in the way. Such as my cousin being sent into foster care, my dad getting laid off for the second time, and my school grades taking a downfall. This explains why I have been on hiatus with this.

But my dad is getting many interviews, my cousin is doing great, and I am now doing 10000 times better in school. Which brings me to resuming my work.

Does that answer anyone's questions? Good :D

PICTURE. Yes. I don't frankenstein often, so I only do little projects. Plus I haven't fiddled around with Lizzie besides photo taking, so this was fun. Ignore the bad arm anatomy. Editing is never exactly perfect. XD

Also, I couldn't help but notice that this is the first time that I've show Lizzie's full appearance. She's usually hiding in the dark somewhere. o_o

This pic will eventually be part of a bigger picture.

So please, I am begging anyone. Please don't ask when it'll be released. DX I can tell you soon, but that's all.

I cry, too often

A flood of tears until I find myself drowning

I absorb too much of her sea

The tears spill and recycle like a hot spring

Till the steam rolls in and I gather them all up

Death’s dew drops on my shoes again.

Come, come closer, and I’ll tell you a story:

Inside them (all) swam a green-haired girl

Who had never ever been touched by a boy

To whom she was so devoted

She would have lived with him forever

In a shack by the sea

Or a ruined sand castle

Even if he (never) made love to her.

A potion. A charm.

There, far out at sea

I saw so many strange things

Outside us (all) swam a green-haired girl

She sparkled brightly in the sun

Yet her father hadn’t seen her

I thought it odd, indeed

Because she was directly in front of him

She was sparkling brightly in the sun

As she had been the whole time.

Inside them (all), swam a green-haired girl

Floating in the lonely sea

She constantly yearned for her mother’s magic

But it slipped through her fingers, elusive as the wind

She was like an empty vessel,

As light as a cloud, a dream

She thought that her mother’s magic could save her

It would keep her spirit safe and warm

A spirit was something akin to a soul

This magical essence was the only thing

The girl had ever wanted

A magical tangible fabric inside her

To heal those psychic wounds

Hiding deep within her ocean’s space

A compass for her center

A North Star of her own

Without this she was invisible

And she might be dying too

For the soul could not live without magic

And she could not live without soul

She had to keep her spirit content within her body

To protect her from the storms

On those coldest darkest nights

When her light would fade and flicker

This scared her more than anything

What if she could never receive her mother’s magic

She feared her past made her insides ill-suited

She had heard stories of her shameful deeds

How she broke her own mothers womb while being born

How selfish could she be??

My tears were for me, but they were also for her.

Sweet, sweet girl, When did you sour?

How did they hijack your soul?

She maintained her physiological characteristics

Growing healthy, straight and tall

A walking and talking green-haired girl

Semi-conscious. Half-alive.

She came and went with the tide

Continuously and eternally washing away

There was a darkness nearby

That weighed her down from long ago.

The wound still Inside her, still gaping and raw.

My tears poured out of me, streaming down my face

I surmised this because my face was wet

And my eyes burned hot like fire pit coals.

My face was wet!

I drank them [salty tears] down my throat

I drank them [salty tears] in gulps deep into me

Swallowing sorrow, choking on pain

Drown, drown, drown [them] so far down

I knew I could not save the green-haired girl

And this did break my heart.

I so badly wanted to save her from her demons

Those wretched demons writhing inside her

To asphyxiate those terrible beasts.

There was nothing I could do but watch

Until I would find myself drowning in tears

In too much of her sea.

A re-edited version of Ruth, one of my strangers from my first 100 strangers project.

I always liked the image, but found it a little dark- I was looking through my portraits, when I decided that I would lighten it up and make a few little tweaks.

It's funny how your tastes change with time, and the style of your photographs and how you process them evolves. I didn't want to replace the last photo, as I didn't feel that would be in the spirit of the project, so uploaded it as a separate entity.

Hope you like!

The aim for this photo was to add a 'fall' effect on the photo. As the photo was based around a forest and leaves I thought this would be a reasonable edit. Starting off I used 'Selective Colour' and changed the greens and the yellows until the colours of the photo starting being more similiar to those in autumn. After, I then added levels and colour curves to get an appropriate colour correction. After this I realised the grass was at an unrealistic colour, so I decided to overlay the grass with a green brush and then changed the opacity. I feel this edit has worked perfectly to show off autumn colours.
