For Gemma and Sarah.
Carmela and Carmen may have been twins.
I am amused to note the strange bit of hair/thread/ghostly ectoplasm emanated over the head of the angel. I left that bit as found.
The brief 'ectoplasm' condensation of the vortices formed by the leading edge strakes occurs as the pilot flares slightly at touchdown, and in this case, a go-around shortly thereafter. Photographed using a Nikon 135 f/2.8 pre-Ai manual focus lens.

"Come, walk a mile in my shoes," he said - and promptly removed both our feet. "That," he laughed, "is the burden of living in a class system. Learn it well."
- monster player: Noooo! That wasn’t a one, she pushed the table and it spun agains the most miniature and I demand a re-roll!!!

This clump of mushroomy things is fun to photograph. There's even big gobby mounds of ectoplasm!
Would be great if anyone could ID these mushrooms!
For ID. These are near Exeter, in Devon, UK. They're just an inch or two tall. They're growing in wood chippings. They're a strong orange colour, as you can (cough) see!

We pay much less attention to dreams and nightmares than we did, but they're still happening every bit as much as always.
I wear the fog like a cloak, mystic cloth forged by nature
In a preordained fashion, my breath sending waves of
Ectoplasm in the frost-tinged morning of rain drenched
Streets, the houses that line them bearing silent witness
To the spectral silhouette that walks there.
My thoughts drift along ahead of me, in tandem with
The restless echoes that haunt my every step, as I make
My way down crooked sidewalks lined with random fissures
Of misuse, where nothing grows between them save an unseen
Darkness I take pains to avoid, in respect to some old superstition.
Here and there, in yards of deadened grass, barren trees wave
Mournful hellos as I pass them by, twisted branches of lost recollection
Their only greeting, wraith-like themselves in a foggy drizzle of lightly
Falling rain that drips from gnarled limbs, as though they weep for
A season too quickly gone but not forgotten.

We talked Ukraine out of keeping their independent nuclear arms and guaranteed our protection in return. End of trust.

Dear Kiki,
I'm well, thank you for asking. Colorado is having a heat wave too. It's been in the hundreds everyday but, that's okay because I get to show off my legs. A pool would be legit! (maybe I can convince Mariah to make me one).
YAY! for Rooks coming home! When your ghost hunting duo is complete you can come exercise my house! cuz i'm sick of the ectoplasmic bullshit.
My brother is grumpy as usual, it might snow if he wasn't. Is Rooks a grump? Do he and Darren like each other? It can be hell when your boys won't get along.
I have three to juggle Chezi, Avocet, and Jude. Making them act decent towards each other sucks up half of my time.
Avi is special...kinda. Jude just thinks he special, in a god's gift to the female population way. -.- But they keep Chezi and me safe so I can't complain.
I love spring and fall. They are really short in Colorado (maybe two weeks). I much prefer the seasons at home. Everything takes its time changing there. Everything is lazy and you can smell the water wherever you are. I expect you will get a taste of that in florida :) Are Darren and Thadie going to? It'd be fun to have them there.

Ok, so this shot has vignetting AND ectoplasmic light leaks all over the film from where I rerolled the 120 film onto a 620 spool and didn't get it rolled quite tight enough. I don't care. I still like this shot.
This was shot with a 1949 Kodak Tourist, f4.5 Anaston lens, Kodak Ektar film, 1/100 at f11 and a Series 6 to 7 step-up ring, polarizer and series 7 hood. The extra length of the step-up ring and the longer series 7 hood caused the vignetted corners.
I have since upgraded to all Series 6 filters and hood, so the vignetted corners shouldn't be a problem going forward. I've also modified the supply side of the film chamber to take 120 film, so no more rerolling - no more light leaks.
