Night shot of Durward Street, which used to be known as Buck's Row, where Mary Ann Nichols became a victim of Jack The Ripper on 31st August 1888.
The building behind the tube station entrance overlooked the murder at the time, & the spot where she was found is the space between the street light & the tube station entrance.

This is the house where George Lusk lived. He was the head of the Whitechapel Vigilance Committee during the Ripper scare, & on October 16 1888, received the From Hell letter along with a piece of kidney which was supposed to have been taken from Catherine Eddowes.

Rimini's Grand Hotel, which was a favourite location for Federico Fellini, & was depicted in his film Amarcord. He built the set at CineCitta Studios in Rome, but it was based upon this hotel.
He would stay here with Giulietta Masina whenever they would visit Rimini.
