Obi’s Filling Station is a fun place to eat. The whole place is car themed. There’s even a table you can eat at that’s made of a car hood. Pentax 17, Harman Phoenix, ECN-2 development. Phoenix was absolutely the right choice to capture this wall.

Last week on a day when both of our cars were in the shop, we walked up to the diner a couple of miles from the house to see the old cars and to get some dessert. Shot with my Soviet-made KMZ-FT2 on Santa Color 100, developed in ECN-2.

The building along the right is the Wentworth Dwellings building where Jack The Ripper left the torn piece of apron belonging to Catherine Eddowes in one of the entrances.

The entrance where the Ripper left the apron piece is the one with the red & white graffiti on the shutter near the two black posts.

Part of the frame really close up along the old boarding school that stands on Durward Street, looking in the direction where Mary Ann Nichols became a victim of Jack The Ripper on August 31 1888.

The spot is on the other side of the tube station entrance which is straight ahead.

Durward Street was known as Buck's Row at the time, but was changed to its current name in October 1892.

Standing on Commercial Street looking into Thrawl Street.

It was around 2 am on the 9th of November 1888 on the corner of Thrawl Street where George Hutchinson saw Mary Jane Kelly meet up with this man, & he watched them walk up to Dorset Street & into Miller's Court. He stood outside waiting for about 45 minutes before leaving after no one left.

Thrawl Street was also where Mary Ann Nichols was turned out for a bed at the doss house she was trying to stay at the night she became a victim of The Ripper.
