Partial solar eclipse on 20th March 2015 as viewed from Stockport, NW England. Photographed with a Canon 700D DSLR.
Near the point of maximum eclipse.
With more clouds.
Not as good or varied as I would have liked. It was very hazy at first, but then some clouds passed, and was able to take some shots, but after the 98%, it became hazy again.
I am pleased, though.

Very usefull back in 1999. Not of any use on March 20. 2015. See you back in 2026 with the next eclipse!
Unfortunately no eclipse today in the centre of The Netherlands due to the cloudly weather this morning. It took some more hours, before the sun finally showed up. Better luck next time. I will keep the shades.
Photographed from my back garden as the clouds ruined my Ha telescope view, but almost glad they did, made for a dramatic photo!
A montage of my partial solar eclipse pictures from 20 March 2015. The top left shot was taken with a smartphone through a 6" SCT. The rest were with a Canon 600D and 250mm lens.
A shot taken in Svalbard, just outside Longyearbyen. Used an Oly E-M10 on an AstroProfessionnal 80ED Refractor. Pretty pleased with the results. :)
Here is my rubbish attempt at capturing the 2015 solar eclipse, which was visible in certain parts of the UK (cloud obscuring some areas).
I used my Fuji Compact, a monopod and a welding visor with someone holding the visor.
It was a case of hit and miss with the auto-focus struggling to create a sharp enough image.
