I didn't have eclipse glasses so, being an old rockhound, I found me a piece of biotite mica (bottom pic) and observed the event, up here in the Bancroft area, through it (pic of 97% full eclipse, top pic).
partial eclipse, sadly my full eclipse photos did not turn out when the moon was a beautiful wine red
Here is a shot of the date of the possible portal. The middle of the zero is gone, but the outside of the zero is clearly visible.
Tomada hace unos minutos.
Eclipse solar parcial. Creo que en Punta Arenas se verÃa completo.
RadiografÃa en mano, es la toma que se pudo obtener.

The January 20/21 total lunar eclipse, blood moon in progress. My camera clock was off by 1 hour, 0 minutes and 50 seconds, so this image is actually taken at roughly an hour and a minute earlier than EXIF states.
A cool thing about this eclipse was that a Meteor hit the Blood Moon at exactly 11:41:10 (Reports differ, but it is 11:41: something.)

This image was digiscoped using a Zeiss 85mm Diascope at 20x and a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W300 camera. The scope was equipped with a solar filter using Baader Planetarium's Safety Film.
My best shot at capturing the eclipse.
This is a +-2 EV HDR, manually aligned and merged in Photoshop with tons of sharpening and noise reduction.
When you spend all morning *trying* to get your cell phone fixed and don't have time to tweak your eclipse plan due to weather, then run into several thunderstorms and only see a portion of the eclipse you've been really excited about, Lady Luck turns her eye on you and at least you get a sweet selfie out of the deal. #eclipse2017
ECLIPSE (Economic Compact Lightweight Pointer-tracker SystEm) is a stabilised, two-axis pointer tracker designed for use as part of the Directed InfraRed Counter Measure (DIRCM) System. The design capitalises on SELEX Galileo’s existing DIRCM pedigree, formulated through the design and delivery of over 1000 combat-proven transmitters to Northrop Grumman Corporation for use in its AN/ AAQ-24(V) NEMESIS DIRCM system.
I took a large number of photos during the eclipse. This is a time lapse of about 1 image per minute rendered at 3fps.
I wasn't in the path of totality, and I was limited to peeks through the clouds. Taken in Albany, NY. All rights reserved.
By the pricking of my thumbs,. Something wicked this way comes.
I need a tripod. This is the best I could do last night but it was a truly spectacular eclipse. It looked like the Death Star. This doesn't do it justice...
