After a lovely lunch in Glasgow we decided that dinner, this evening, wasn't required although my wife and I did read ourselves to a delicious chocolate eclair!!

FloWeR PoWeR - Aerosculpture (Jean-Pierre David & Christian Thellier)
La lumiere devient matiere, elle forme des eclairs concentriques et des spirales infinies.
FloWeR PoWeR is, in a way, a third-generation work, inspired by research and experimentation with a system that can recreated the rings of Saturn. Jean-Pierre David and Christian Thellier have managed to blend digital and electromechanical technology that explores light, speed and transparency. Lights becomes matter, creating concentric flashes and infinite spirals, similar to multicoloured digital flowers.
Fascinated by airships and the idea of floating in the air, Jean-Pierre David has developed with Aerosculpture an artistic project involving helium, the flagship creation of which is undoubtedly the Aeroplume. He creates lightweight installations and giant aerial shows.
Light has gradually made its way into his work: 'the lightness of LED systems and their low energy consumption enables us to introduce light into our aerostats. Works such as The Dragon Metamorphosis and The Luminous Seaweed are an illustration of this and their technical development is leading the artist towards new shapes.
The festival of lights in Brussels
Bright Brussels, the festival of lights returns to brighten up the capital this winter!
Four evenings and three routes will take you on a journey to discover of some twenty immersive and poetic artistic works. From 10 to 13 February, the Royal Quarter, the European Quarter and the Flagey neighborhood will be illuminated by enchanting light installations. The festival will also feature a fringe programme, including evening events in the museums.
It's become a tradition for the lights of Bright Brussels to warm us up in the dead of winter and, best of all, it's completely free!

Situation météorologique favorable pour voir de beaux orages dans l’Hérault cette nuit , j'ai délibérément voulu me mettre dans la composition de la photo jusqu’à jouer avec la chance .. car j’étais loin d'imaginer qu'un éclair allait sortir de ma tête !!
