Under clear blue skies, Union Pacific Big Boy No. 4014 is leading its first ever public excursion and is approaching Echo, Utah as it steams east along the route it was built to operate on.
Well, I didn't scream underneath this small underpass but I have heard young kids screaming and shouting and it does echo in there and especially when the trains cross over above!!

Echo consists of 4 rings that can move each in 360 degrees of freedom. While one ring is motorized the others react to the slightest disbalance to create a complex set of movements.
ECHO is made for the new building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (BZ), the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment (IenM), the Immigration and Naturalization Service (IND) and the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA) designed by OMA Architects.
Echo is 24h a day visible from the Turfmarkt, right next to Central Station, in The Hague and looks especially good in the afternoon sun.

It was nice to go back to Elterwater in early June on a still and misty morning, even though sunrise is now at a ridiculous hour.
U-3PO droid seem to be lost in the desert. Again.
And finally an addition to my toys album! I'm very happy way this turned out as this is all in-camera. There'a decent amount of realism, which makes this 3.75 inch action figure a bit more alive. I think, it also has a bit classic feel of the Original Trilogy, but that's just my two cents!
NREX (ex CP) 5607 leads HCRY train 912 as it approaches Echo Bay. The headend loaded log cars are fitting for Northern Ontario.
Hiking downriver from the campground in Echo Canyon I paused here to see if I could see any fish in the shallow canyon. I kicked myself for leaving the binoculars in camp. But then this view began to sink in and my appreciation of it deepened.
Some animals left their footprints in the sandy mud as came for their morning drink.

It's that magical time of year at Echo Ridge. Fires are lit and cabins are warm as the snow starts to fall on the evergreen forests. Hear the ice sing under the setting sun and make a wish upon a shooting star.
I've been away to the city for a few days visiting family. Walking through the downtown streets along all the facades of mirrored glass, it seems there are endless echoes of light.
The street repeated the same pause at two different distances. The foreground figure carries the weight, while the second man gives the scene its quiet echo.

(born Nov. 23, 1892, St. Petersburg, Russia-died April 21,
1990, Paris, France) Russian-born French fashion illustrator
and designer. In 1912 he arrived in Paris, where he worked briefly
with the couturier Paul Poiret. From 1916 to 1937 he
published elegant, highly stylized illustrations depicting
models in mannered poses against Art Deco interiors in
Harper's Bazaar. He also designed theatrical scenery and
costumes for the Folies-Bergère in Paris (1919–30), and in
the 1920s he costumed performers in U.S. musicals, most
notably the Ziegfeld Follies. His designs continue to be
widely reproduced.

An echo is the repetition of sound, but it also can mean the p=repetitions of ideas, and reminders of the past.

Woke up, crossed paths with a coyote in a misty forest, and then watched the fog lift off Echo Lake to reveal a brilliant layer of foliage along the shore. It was a memorable morning in the White Mountains.

With a ubiquitous quartet of EMD SD40-2s for power, a Union Pacific intermodal train meets a rail train, with GE C30-7s (lead by class engine 2400), tied down on the center siding at Echo, Utah.
