EATS: Cooking Class (4/4)

On October 3, Eats announced their closing, and that their last day of business would be Friday, October 17, 2025.

I've been enjoying Eats since around 2003, when I began going as an undergrad at Tech participating in "orchestra dinner" events after GTSO rehearsal on Thursday evenings. After graduation, after getting a job in Midtown, I resumed visited regularly during lunch. After the closure announcement, I was able to come three more times; the crowds were big and the lines were long during those final couple weeks.

It's already hard to believe Eats is no more. It will be missed by so many.

these nice people will give you free warm beverages and baked goods in exchange for a story about fish or water.

This year we followed Alton Brown's turkey recipe from his show Good Eats. It was fantastic.
