GENEVA is a pretty, 4-5 month old Plott Hound/Pit mix puppy who’s very social and playful. She loves everyone she meets, likes her toys, and is playful with other dogs (since she can be a little rude with other dogs, she would be best placed with an easygoing, playful, male dog!). She’s very interested in food, so should be a wonderful puppy to train :-)Geneva will be lots of fun for an energetic, committed family who’ll enjoy giving her good exercise and taking her to puppy class.

Geneva lives in Kennel 15.

****I'M A HIDDEN GEM****

Greetings, my friends! Allow me to introduce myself. My official title is "Lady Pickles," but there's no need to address me with such formality - Pickles suits me just fine! Though I am more mature in years than some of my canine counterparts here at the shelter, I've still got plenty of youthful energy left to share with my forever family. I love nothing more than going for a nice jaunt through the park, followed by a relaxing nap. I'm a fairly easygoing lady, and love every person I meet (especially when there's belly rubs involved).

***************

As a Hidden Gem, I get my very own volunteers who spend extra time with me and work with me on basic training needs. That way, I'll be extra ready to settle into my new home! And, because I've been here a little bit longer than my friends, staff have had the opportunity to get to know me really well, and they will gladly answer any questions you may have about me.

As an extra "thank you" for considering taking me home, my adoption fee has been waived*!

*Standard adoption procedures apply.

In 2002 Spirit became the first Montana Grizzly to be placed at the Center. As a six-year-old, mother of two, Spirit was known by Fish, Wildlife and Parks biologists as "Easy" because of her easygoing personality and was often seen roaming the beach or golf course near the community in Whitefish, Montana. She obtained some human food and was passing on this behavior to both her cubs. Although she never was involved with aggressive tendency toward humans, it was only a matter of time before a dangerous situation became a reality. Spirit was relocated six times, but continued to return to the golf community even after intensive aversive conditioning with the use of Karelian Bear Dogs, cracker shells and rubber bullets. After one of her cubs was killed by a car, officials decided to remove the other cub by placing it in captivity at the Denver Zoo, and then to remove Spirit from the wild forever. Soon after arriving at the Center, this bear received the name Spirit in honor of the spritual signigicance of grizzlies to many Native American people.

This is a really nice and sweet broodmare. She has wonderful foals. See her 05 Colt RHR Kool Rock Kat. Her last two colts sold for $3,500 each! They are awesome! Downsizing reduces her price to $3500. See her pedigree at www.allbreedpedigree.com/cupids+kool+kitty

She has Prince Plaudit and Hayes Roman Cloud among others in her pedigree. Call us for more info or see us online. Very easygoing and gets along well with others in the pasture.

'Itzhak (Asked Me to Photograph Him)' On Black

He must have seen me taking photos nearby, for as I walked by, he asked, "Why don't you take MY picture?"

I was thrilled to oblige! We talked a bit as I made several shots, and he became very relaxed... This is the last--and best--of the series. What a great face he has! Full of character and personality. One senses that he's someone with a great sense of humor, among other things...

Thanks for suggesting the photo, Itzhak!

My name is Dilza Cunha Borges, I’m 58 years old, an easygoing person, happy, sometimes a little bit shy. I have two children and both of them are married and this lovely boy in the picture, is my grandson Guilherme, who will be two on the next 7th , September. I really love The Life and I’m graduated in Letras – Português/Inglês . I also studied Pedagogy, but I haven’t got my degree yet.

My first contact with English Language was during my childhood in a catholic school I studied, where some of the teachers were from Europe and I could listen to them talking in a different language. It was English! And since there I started learning English.

Sometimes life is not the way we want to and for many times I had to stop my studies. It doesn’t matter! The most important thing is that even I had stopped studying for about twenty years, I never gave up my dreams. I went do London in England, where I lived for almost ten years and when I came back I started teaching private classes. Then, I returned to the university and I got my degree in Letras. Now, I’m working in a public school, private classes and at language course as well.

Being in this CEI course has been a big challenge for me and I fell so grateful! I’m sure I’m in the right way to improve the quality of the profession I chosen. Hope all of we learn a lot from this course because we deserve it!

Bhutanese children are reasonably bilingual (read, write, understand and speak) from the second grade on up. This is more than can be said for most other nations' seven-year-olds.

The legend of the House

Annie Palmer is known as the ‘White Witch” and she was originally from England. However she had lived the better part of her life in Haiti.

She lost her parents to a bout of yellow fever and it was her nanny who was a practitioner of voodoo.

The nanny trained Annie and introduced her to the art of witchcraft.

Annie then shifted to Jamaica and got married. She married John Palmer in the year 1820. John Palmer owned the Rose Hall Plantation.

Annie was not an easygoing woman and the plantation housed around 2000 slaves as well as was a lucrative source of income.

However, Annie could not resist weilding her black magic powers to control the people living near her.

Annie lost her husband under mysterous circumstances. She later remarried twice however these two men too did not survive and it is commonly believed that Annie was the main cause of these unnatural deaths.

Annie used voodoo to scare the plantation workers and often slept with the male slaves. She later killed them.

When the slave uprising of the 1930 Annie’s lover Takoo killed her in bed. The legend also states that Takoo took this drastic step as Annie was supposedly attracted to Takoo’s son in law. However as Annie could not win him over she then practiced voodoo on Takoo’s child and later the child succumbed within a week.

There were rumors of mass deaths at the plantations. Annie also pushed her housekeeper out of her balcony. The poor slave broke her neck and eventually died.

There are rumors about Annie’s spirit still lives in the house and she roams around the plantation till date. Many Seances have been conducted in the premises in order to call on the spirit of Annie. Annie was barely five feet tall in height, however she still plays a vital role in the history of Jamaica.

'Spring Grove'...sounds like a level out of vintage Sonic The Hedgehog but is actually a pub (and formerly renovated hotel) in lovely leafy Kingston. A short (but somewhat confusing) walk from Kingston Rail Station, The Spring Grove lives in an area quiet enough for me be able to stand in the middle of the road for long enough to take multiple pictures of the front (as you can see in the pictures)

It is some shade of gunmetal grey and stands a very noticeable 3 stories high at the end of Bloomfield Rd. It used to be the Spring Grove Hotel - and you can see - the building has some character and age. As for how It feels 'light' here in the main part, well designed for light to come through the various windows and a central skylight. How about human ambiance? The staff wear checked shirts and are young, probable students with minimal to moderate amounts of tattoos. One wears a Scroobius Pip t-shirt under her checked shirt. It's a chill, youthful atmosphere here. Maybe it's all that Kingston Uni shit rubbing off on the surrounding area?

As for the food and drink, they seem to be keen on Meantime's ales, along with, obviously, their own range of Young's beers. They could probably do better on the cider choices - they only have Aspall (not that there's anything wrong with Aspall). The food is basically pushing 'gastropub' (but perhaps not quite at THAT level of price and ATTENTION TO DETAIL). The Cote De Bouef platter shared between me and my buddy Adam was pretty legit (even though they told me they wouldn't do it blue). All in all it's not the most memorable or unusual pub I've been to, but for consistency, easygoing atmosphere, area (and a beautiful area it is)... plus that amazing garden - I would recommend it!

Hummus is a fellow who loves attention. He's chatty and likes petting and rubbing up against your ankles. He also likes to play. He could use regular brushing; in this picture I had given him some brushing and he was very easygoing. (I didn't try to do his tummy but perhaps he would be fine with that?) He found a new home 24 February 2015.

Atka is an Arctic Gray ambassador wolf (canis lupus) from the Wolf Conservation Center in South Salem, New York (www.nywolf.org). He came for a visit to the Spirit Gallery (www.spiritgallerytattoo.com/) in New London, CT, to be photographed and to just hang out. He is a beautiful animal and has an easygoing disposition (unless you make noises with your camera bag).

Hi there! My name is #StringBean, and I'm an energetic boy who loves to play! Though I'm bit rambunctious at first, I settle down quickly and love to cuddle up to you for pets and attention. I'm an easygoing guy - nothing really bothers me. I'm so sweet and attentive, I'm really easy to train! I already know "sit" and I'll eat right out of your hand. If you're looking for a well-rounded dog who loves to play and cuddle, I'd be a great addition to almost any home (I'm good with other dogs and kids 12 and up). Meet me at the New York Avenue Adoption Center today! bit.ly/1XlBnbP #AdoptDC #AdoptWHS

This is my son Beau's cat Yoda. Since I am always filling our lives and home with cats it seems only fair that Beau can have his own cat or two. We found Yoda and his sister Soboba (Japanese Bubble Tea) at a cat show and fell head over heels in love with them. I am going to go out on a limb and say that I have never had friendlier or more easygoing cats than Yoda and Boba. They are Tonkinese which is a breed that was developed by crossing Siamese cats with Burmese, which in my humble opinion seems to have created the ideal cat.

Nationals from Most nations require a Visa to go to India, even only for tourism reasons. Be that as it may, getting an Indian Visa is significantly less demanding than any time in recent memory, and the Indian Visa application process currently incorporates the alternative to get an e-Visa. It's likewise less expensive than previously. Canadians, Americans, Australians, and British nationals are all among the not insignificant rundown of nations now qualified for 10-year traveler Visas and the new e-Visa for India. To see whether your nationality is on the rundown, Indian Visa Online.

The e-Visa (Indian E-Tourist Visa) process:

The e-Visa is for: "Universal Travelers whose sole target of going to India is amusement, touring, easygoing visit to meet companions or relatives, brief length therapeutic treatment or easygoing business visit" as per the Indian government site.

Be straightforward while applying for Indian Visa:

One of my peruses got some information about what sort of Indian Visa to get for yoga ponder in India, and other travel scholars and bloggers have inquired as to whether they require a news coverage Visa. He said that on the off chance that you are straightforward, they will attempt and do all that they can to ensure you get the correct Visa.

On the off chance that you are going to a perceived instructive organization in India, you require a training Visa.

On the off chance that you are composing proficient travel stories about India or taking photos for distribution, you require a columnist Visa. I interpreted this as meaning, on the off chance that you are working all day for an expert production, for example, staff author for the New York Times. Numerous movement bloggers are diversion bloggers, and a Tourist Visa will most likely be okay. Simply ensure you write down that you are in India for tourism.

In the event that you are volunteering, you require a volunteer Visa.

Different sorts of Visas incorporate business, meeting, therapeutic, travel, and research.

The most troublesome part about applying for an Indian Visa is getting every one of the points of interest right. In the event that you commit an error, you could be denied.

Snowball is a four-year-old Maltese mix surrendered to MMR. For the two weeks prior to his surrender, Snowball was in the temporary custody of a good samaritan who took him in, along with his littermate, when their owner decided she could no longer care for them. The brother was earlier adopted by a friend of the temporary owner. Because of his need for housebreaking reinforcement, Snowball took a bit longer to place. MMR volunteer, Cheryl, coordinated intake and he was placed in foster care with MMR volunteers, Daisy and Tony, who recently adopted Rollie and Sadie from MMR. The three dogs made fast friends. Weighing about 10 pounds, Snowball is easygoing and playful, gets on well with other dogs and is housetrained to the outside, although he needed reinforcement in that area. Playful and sociable, Snowball was adopted by Daisy and Tony. He joins Rollie and Sadie, in his forever home. Daisy reports that his house training skills are improving and that he loves car rides. Additional thanks to Snowball’s case manger, MMR volunteer Rebecca.

My friend adopted / saved him from some uncouth, uncaring, careless losers somewhere in southern Minnesota. He is unbelievably cheerful and easygoing. She hasn't been able to figure out a name for him though. She read me a list of about 50 possibilities.

Here's my baby nephew Alexander, otherwise known as "The Gerber Baby". He's the most adorable little kid. He's easygoing and he smiles a lot. What more can an uncle ask for?
