Guy’s 1990’s Theme Outfit – The fashion of 1990’s was moving more towards on easygoing work uniform started and dismissal of stuffiness and decorums. Shirts, shorts, baggy pants, Adidas, sweatsuits, baseball caps, tattoos, piercings, were becoming part of man’s...

Back from Key West and Florida.
We flew into Miami and drove down to Key West. On the way back, I wanted to stop and visit with John Dacey of Business Cycles, a cult fixed gear figure and shop of sorts.
So many people reference Business Cycles and the hard work that John Dacey puts into providing a lot of information out there on the web.
I consider him to be one of the best, a very humble and easygoing man who was kind to let us into the store and bother him with my fanboy antics.
He's the Miami's equivalent of Marcus Moore of Yojimbo's here in Chicago.
these are shots from the studio session with martin some time ago...and again a double picture :-D

This wine tasting session was hosted by Michael Green. He's a very entertaining wine master. He taught wine in an easygoing, understandable way that even wine newbies would get it.
The Tempranillo had a good medium body and I loved the deep, cherry flavors. It was great with the gyro slider by Chef Psilakis.

The legend of the House
Annie Palmer is known as the ‘White Witch” and she was originally from England. However she had lived the better part of her life in Haiti.
She lost her parents to a bout of yellow fever and it was her nanny who was a practitioner of voodoo.
The nanny trained Annie and introduced her to the art of witchcraft.
Annie then shifted to Jamaica and got married. She married John Palmer in the year 1820. John Palmer owned the Rose Hall Plantation.
Annie was not an easygoing woman and the plantation housed around 2000 slaves as well as was a lucrative source of income.
However, Annie could not resist weilding her black magic powers to control the people living near her.
Annie lost her husband under mysterous circumstances. She later remarried twice however these two men too did not survive and it is commonly believed that Annie was the main cause of these unnatural deaths.
Annie used voodoo to scare the plantation workers and often slept with the male slaves. She later killed them.
When the slave uprising of the 1930 Annie’s lover Takoo killed her in bed. The legend also states that Takoo took this drastic step as Annie was supposedly attracted to Takoo’s son in law. However as Annie could not win him over she then practiced voodoo on Takoo’s child and later the child succumbed within a week.
There were rumors of mass deaths at the plantations. Annie also pushed her housekeeper out of her balcony. The poor slave broke her neck and eventually died.
There are rumors about Annie’s spirit still lives in the house and she roams around the plantation till date. Many Seances have been conducted in the premises in order to call on the spirit of Annie. Annie was barely five feet tall in height, however she still plays a vital role in the history of Jamaica.
Michelangelo - He is labeled as "The Wild One" and "The Party Dude" as he is the most "fun" out of all the turtles. He is also very impulsive, extremely social, and wants the outside world (Humans) to accept him and his brothers. He is the first of the turtles to taste pizza and is very proud of his talent for naming things. probably more fun-loving than his brothers, he became a popular culture incarnation of the TMNT, coining most of their catch phrases; hence, he is possibly the most famous Turtle. Because of his more carefree nature, most seem to view Michelangelo as the youngest of the Ninja Turtles, although they are all actually roughly the same age.
His bandanna is typically portrayed as orange, his favorite color (although all four Turtles originally wore red bandannas) Mikey is considerably the most athletic of his brothers and is considered the fastest with the most talent. His weapons are two nunchaku; however, he has also been portrayed using other weapons, such as grappling hooks and tonfas. One of them can convert into a kusarigama which he can use not only for offense in battle, but for defense. These weapons match his flexible like abilities when it comes to battle.
Nunchaku are illegal in many places, so some of the TV show creators had to avoided using them.
While he's not as focused as Leo, strong like Raph, or smart as Donnie, Mikey's talent and unpredictability make up for it. Splinter considers Mikey the one with the most potential to be even more skilled as a ninja then his three brothers combined. Michelangelo is stealthy, can hide in the shadows, sneak around without being detected.
In the original comic books, Michelangelo was initially depicted as fun-loving, carefree, and, while not as aggressive as Raphael, was always ready to fight. Michelangelo's one-shot in 1985 ruled out most of the traits that have become synonymous with the character, such as his playfulness, empathy, and easygoing nature. In the one-shot story, Michelangelo adopts a stray cat (which he names Klunk) and also stops thieves from stealing toys meant for orphaned children.
Later, after their defeat of the Foot Clan the Turtles, Splinter, April O'Neil, and Casey Jones retreat to a farm house in Northampton, Massachusetts. While there, April is worried that Michelangelo is not himself. He spends his days in the barn taking out his aggression on a punching bag. A scene shows him lashing out at his surroundings and repeatedly punching the wall of the barn until it breaks, then collapsing. The end of the story implies that Michelangelo's sorrow and frustration have been resolved, as subsequent issues restore Michelangelo's more relaxed, optimistic personality.
It is during the group's time at the farm we learn that Michelangelo also has an interest in comic books, specifically ones involving superheroes.
Michelangelo was not given an especially large role in the 1984 comic series Volumes 1 and 2. His relatively small role was probably due to the need to establish Leonardo's role as "leader" along with the fact that Donatello was Peter Laird's favorite Turtle, and Raphael was Kevin Eastman's favorite.
Michelangelo's personality became strongly established in the 1987 animated series. He was often seen as a "Party Dude", which accounts for only part of his personality otherwise. As the "party dude", he usually didn't have much input in the team's plans, although he was still just as active as his brothers. He typically spent much of his time joking and socializing with other characters. He has a fondness for pizza, even beyond that of the other Turtles; in the Season 3 episode "Cowabunga, Shredhead", his pizza cravings annoyed the others so much that Splinter hypnotized him into refusing and denouncing pizza whenever the very word was mentioned, although the hypnosis was lifted at the end of the episode.
Michelangelo received his distinctive voice, which has been imitated in other portrayals of him, in the 1990 series. Employing a "surfer slang" vocabulary, he customarily spoke with a unique Californian surfer accent. It is likely that the voicing simply emphasized his laid-back and somewhat innocent attitude. Michelangelo's voice actor was Townsend Coleman in the 1987 series' original English language version and Johnny Castro in the 25th anniversary movie Turtles Forever.
He is named after Michelangelo Buonarroti, the Renaissance artist.
Michelangelo's trademark phrase in this series is the famous "Cowabunga" expression that became a pop culture phenomenon.
Kevin Eastman's original "ninja turtle" concept drawing (1983) portrayed an unnamed turtle with nunchaku strapped to its arms, some consider Michelangelo to be the first Ninja Turtle created.

GO TMNT GO !!
Phillip is known to be brave and heroic. On the other hand, he appears to be fairly easygoing. At times, he is able to subtly persuade people to do as he wants. Examples include Phillip bribing his horse with food so that he could find the source of the singing he heard, and manipulating his father into agreeing that he should marry the girl he loves rather than the princess he is betrothed to.
Phillip has brown hair and brown eyes (his eye color though is hard to distinguish due to the animation style of the film). He appears to be several years older than Aurora, as he was a young child while she was still an infant. Phillip is generally seen wearing a tan tunic over a black shirt, with brown pants and boots that frame tightly around his slim, but fair built phsique. He also is seen wearing a red cape and hat at times.

The Huating Buddhist Temple is an ancient Buddhist temple that was originally a retreat for the local ruler, and is one of the major tourist attractions in the Western Hills area. Sitting at the foot of Mount Huating, it is one of the best-preserved Buddhist temples in Kunming. The 900-year-old temple was originally designed as a county temple for Gao Zhishen, Kunming's governor during the Song dynasty (1063AD). It was rebuilt as a Buddhist temple in the fourteenth century and it continued to grow and later became the largest Buddhist complex in Kunming. The main temple contains a trinity of gilded lacquer Buddhas seated on lotus thrones. It is characterized by blue hair, august gesture and sumptuous setting. Comparing with the serious Buddha, the 500 luohan on the sidewalls, similar to those in the Bamboo Temple, then appear frivolous and easygoing. Today, there still are some fine statues and excellent gardens.

Harris's Hawks' social behavior is unusual for raptors. Young may stay with their parents for up to three years, helping to raise later broods. They also hunt together, groups of two to six birds often cooperating to flush and then capture prey (group hunting). In contrast, the vast majority of raptors are solitary hunters, and not at all gregarious.
Harris HawkThis social behavior gives Harris's Hawks an easygoing nature that makes them desirable captive birds. Since about 1980, Harris's Hawks have been increasingly used in falconry and are now the most popular hawks in the West (outside of Asia) for that purpose, as they are the easiest to train and the most affectionate.[2]
Hunting with Harris's Hawks often works best with two or more birds. (In contrast most other raptors cannot be flown together, as they will attack each other.) When prey is flushed, the birds can work together to corner the animal – compensating for their relatively low acceleration and speed. Harris's Hawks will happily treat the falconer as a hunting partner, and will follow from tree to tree and perch until the falconer flushes a rabbit from the bushes.
In the United States desert southwest, Harris's hawks sometimes engage in a behavior called 'stacking'. Two or three birds may perch one atop the other. Researchers note that when this occurs, the more dominant bird is actually the one on the bottom of the stack. The social dynamics are that when a low-status bird is approached by a higher status bird, the low-status bird will abandon a perch. However, a higher status bird will retain its perch, and end up with one or two lower status birds atop it.
The Harris's Hawk can, if trained well, take a wide range of prey, being able to almost match the Goshawk. They can easily catch and kill a rabbit, a hare or even a pheasant, but its natural prey are small rodents and reptiles.
Kit One traveled very well. He's going to a home in Pennsylvania as a pet... he was the biggest of Alice's May, 2013 litter of eleven, and the darkest and nicest.
He got to ride to Cortland, New York in a truly small cat carrier because we didn't have a carrier that would fit in the diesel if we allowed space for the carrier we'd get back from another breeder who bought Flopsy and Mopsy the weekend before. He's so easygoing, he'll be a good guy wherever he goes.
Movie star, songwriter par excellence, rock-folk luminary and Musicator General of the late 20th century, Kris Kristofferson appears for his public interview at SXSW.
As is the general rule throughout the day sessions at the conference, photography is limited to the first five minutes of the panel interview. Kristofferson is relaxed and easygoing, a born storyteller with a warm smile and a palpable presence.

Medusa is a 2-year-old female cat who is at Lollypop Farm for the second time. She had been abandoned the first time, and then an adopter returned her. She can't wait to be in a permanent home.
Medusa is a beautiful and talkative cat who loves attention and is easygoing. She even likes to follow her people around in the house!
Medusa would do best in a home without dogs, but she is living in one of the shelter's catteries right now and getting along well with the other cats living there.

Bhutan life.
Bhutanese children are reasonably bilingual (read, write, understand and speak) from the second grade on up. This is more than can be said for most other nations' seven-year-olds.
