It had raindrops on it this morning, touched up a bit with a spray bottle, an experiment with focus stacking using Helicon Focus.

Chinese tourist groups are easy to spot. Many, if not most have a unique baseball hat of bright colours. Our group from Canada included sizable percentage of Asian/Canadians, but none came from Hongkong, Taiwan or mainland China. I did not see people playing baseball, but many are wearing baseball hats. In fact, the only sports I have seen playing was badminton, tai-chi, sword swinging and also line-dancing is big. Given the fact that 90% of North American baseball hats are made in China and used for promoting anything from tooth paste to tractors, no wonder the Chinese adopted them.
There were several tourist groups, like this one from the far away Chinese provinces, at wide promenade of The Bund. The Bund, must see when in Shanghai, is actually collections of 50 historic buildings from the former British Concession on the west side of Huangpu River.

A former NW SD40-2 sits quietly in Adel on a cool October evening. This locomotive is used on train G63 which runs between Adel, GA and Arabi, GA.
Although hard to tell at first glance, the units NW heritage is really showing on the conductors side of the long hood. The NW letters can barely be made out but after additional inspection, I can confirm that's what showing (the W is easier to see than the N). I've always heard about former Southern units showing off their Southern paint bleeding through, but never an NW unit so this was certainly a nice find. To make things even better, this unit still retains its Leslie RS5T.

Thank you for showing me that I can set and maintain boundaries; thank you for validating my trust in my intuition; and thank you for reminding me that I should expect no one but myself to put me first, never again compromising myself for anyone.
I am looking forward to starting this new year out fresh. I have more goals than I can possibly accomplish, so there is plenty to keep me busy. Actually it's not so easy for wildlife but anyone who decides to live in my garden has a much easier day to day way of life. This chipmunk spent his lazy summer days in the coolness of my fern last year. He would roll and cover himself with the cool damp soil and then rest. It was a good life.

Eucalyptus pauciflora of the Myrtaceae family. When looking at mountains such as Mount Feathertop in the Victorian Alps, it's easy to look at the big picture, but I spotted way up high a single Snow Gum in the snow and picked it up with my telephoto to record it's tenacity and feeling of being alone in the landscape.
