I posted an earlier shot of this same Great Blue Heron holding its catch. This is the moment of capture of this unfortunate fish that was swimming in the shallows at Michigan's Kensington Metropark.

At the head of North Bentinck Arm British Columbia is the town of Bella Coola. There is some floating homes around the area and judging by the firewood on the deck this one appears to be getting ready for winter. The burned pilings belonged to the BC Packers building known as the Old Cannery. The building was consumed by a fire which was deliberately set in June of 2019.

From now on, the rest of the Misery Trail is easy.
After a steep but relatively short hike one reaches the mostly level stretch of the Misery Trail on the top of the Rock. Much more to see from up here.

Centro Habana, Cuba.
• Centro Havana in Cuba with its eighteenth-and-nineteenth century architecture. With many worned buildings, but very colorful. Adjacent and between the districts of La Habana Vieja and Vedado.
• Centro Habana en Cuba con su arquitectura finale del siglos XVIII- y-XIX. Con muchos edificios desgastados, pero muy coloridos. Adyacentes y entre los barrios de La Habana Vieja y el Vedado en Cuba.
• Centro Habana à Cuba avec son architecture fin XVIIIe-et-XIXe siècles. Avec de nombreux bâtiments usés par le temps, mais très colorés. Adjacent et entre les quartiers de La Habana Vieja et Vedado.
We're still in lockdown for another three weeks and limited to travelling five miles, so my option of going down easy to Nash Point isn't an option. I really miss the coast at night for sunsets, but have great fun on my cycle rides, especially now the large fritillaries are emerging. Go Down Easy is a lovely song by John Martyn, a slow start to my morning breakfast disco :))))
