Happy Easter everyone! :)
Version 5 of Midjourney has been released, and the results are even more impressive.
A digital image 'dreamed by' Midjourney, an artificial intelligence program that creates images from textual descriptions. The technique evolves fast. Let's compare these results with the images in one year's time..
Every tradition, every myth, is based on a grain of truth...
Recent evidence suggests that the easter bunny originated somewhere in what was once the supercontinent Gondwana, 2000 to 2000000000 years ago.
Several factors were important in the creation of the easter bunny story:
- dinosaurs would lay their eggs at this time of year
- their eggs were nutritious
- prehistoric man would be really hungry after a long winter
- being male and hungry predisposed him to making stupid decisions e.g.. stealing dinosaur eggs
- ancient megafauna like megarabbit were slow moving and easy to kill, but not as nutritious as dinosaur eggs
- if you wore megabunny ears like a hat, it would make you (prehistoric man) appear bigger and thus scarier to dinosaurs, increasing your chance of successfully stealing dinosaur eggs and surviving to procreate another day from 1:32544756485 to 1:7362486346
- prehistoric man had not yet mastered statistics or critical thought.
With these well documented facts put together, we can now appreciate how the story of the "easter bunny" and "easter eggs" came to be.
Ofcourse, like all stories, it has changed somewhat over the years, but the main message of Easter has remained the same - chocolate eggs taste better than real eggs, but are far less nutritious.
Happy hunting, and happy Easter!
Happy Easter to all those that celebrate today!
For the rest of us Happy Sunday!
My Grape Hyacinths are in bloom but not the ones I transplanted,
I had to throw out hundreds of little bulbs, they were getting very crowded, besides I had to plant my new red tulips,
Easter eggs are hidden items placed in a movies, television shows, DVD's, video games, or software. Sometimes easter eggs are hard to find. I have been using this slicer for decades. Never did I know it contains an Easter egg.
And now I wish I never found out about it.
We're here visiting Easter eggs
I just had to bring some Easter ornaments outside in the beautiful morning dew two days ago.

Happy easter to all.
These little Smartie Easter Eggs are well nice. (Other small chocolate eggs are available).
We've a couple, or rather did have a couple, of bags in the house. Don't think the remaining bag will last long though.

Happy Easter! Basket of chocolate goodies from Fran's Chocolates in Georgetown.
Processed with Topaz Impressions Oil Glaze filter.
A pair of pink tulips with hints of white edges are beautifully captured against a softly textured pastel background. The flowers exhibit a delicate gradient of color and are shown in full bloom with their green stems and leaves elegantly framing them. They bloomed just in time for Easter.

Easter is really cold this year. We had 7°C today in Berlin which felt like 3° or 4°, and I know it was even colder in other regions of Germany. Brrr. It was "typical April weather", sunshine taking turns with rain, very windy. Only a few minutes after I had taken this shot a short hailstorm occured. "April showers bring May flowers" - well, I hope so ;-). Please press "Z".
Have a nice week ahead, dear friends!
"Der April, der April, der macht was er will"... Diese Ostern ganz bestimmt, solch ein kaltes Osterfest hatten wir lange nicht, glaube ich. Nur wenige MInuten, nachdem ich dieses Kirschblütenfoto aufgenommen hatte, gab es einen kleinen Hagelschauer. Der Spaziergang war dann ebenfalls kurz ;-).
Bitte "Z" drücken.
Ich wünsche Euch eine schöne Woche, zieht Euch warm an ;-) !
