The most amazing handmade easter bonnet ever.
The theme is the 1906 earthquake. Within the cracked egg, note the tilted Victorians, the peeps looking out the windows of the Victorians, the famous golden hydrant, the, scared pastel animals in the cable car, the one animal who's dangling free, and the use of black and red feathers to indicate smoke and fire.
Plus, the entire thing revolves.
Truly outrageous.

A camera small enough to take everywhere but with the 35mm equivalent of 28mm wide angle to just over 100mm. This really is just what I wanted!
They are currently being sold for about £150 at Comet which is a much better price than most other places - just go in knowing you are going to say no to all their attempts to sell you extended guarantees / insurance etc.
Delicious delicious chocolate-berry-meringue pie. Mmm. Oh, and dyed Easter eggs done by moi, because no one else in my family ever wants to do them.
PS gold paint pen on eggs (pre-dying) works pretty well.

Bishop David Walkowiak celebrated Mass for the Easter Vigil in the Holy Night at the Cathedral of Saint Andrew on April 20. The Easter Vigil includes the blessing of the Easter fire, a ceremony in which the Easter candle is lit from a fire on the Piazza Secchia outside the cathedral. Parish communities throughout the diocese, including the cathedral, welcome new members of the Church during this Mass. Individuals who have completed their preparation are baptized and/or received into full communion with the Church.
