The Easter week at Shree Peetha Nilaya was as eventful as it was blessed. The spirit of Christ and His Love was ever-present among the many devotees gathered to observe the full days of prayers and services. It was a week of joy and happiness, insight and inspiration, but most importantly, a week of family and unity in the name of the Divine!

Easter Sunday, 30th March 1986 finds 20199 standing outside Grangemouth shed. I still find it hard to believe that this image was taken twenty five years ago today, as I can remember this trip as if it were yesterday!

The kids’ Easter baskets from the evening before Easter. The grandparents did a good job of keeping the kids busy after dinner so they wouldn’t get a sneak peek while I was taking pictures in the back yard.

Ava got a smaller stuffed fawn like the one she got for her birthday, a “Traveling Songs” Tonie and a fairy Creative Tonie (with Daniel Tiger songs that I put on it) for her Toniebox, a couple books, and a few pieces of candy. Evan got a lavender stuffed dragon, a Pokémon mini tin with two booster card packs in it, a Creative Tonie of his own (with assorted songs that I thought he might like), a couple books, and a few pieces of candy as well.

My Mum arranged a delivery from Sainsbury's for our Easter treat. We got Easter eggs and all sorts of other delicious treats!

our nanny rocks. Not only does she take the boys out for runs on the trail, fun in the park, healthy foods - she cleans the house, does laundry and helps them paint easter eggs. I think I love her. No, I know I do. Thanks Karin xoxo

These are my first attempts at Easter cookies. Believe it or not, I did use picnik.com to make the photos better since they were really bad to begin with. I am pleased at the final product and am so glad to have taken the pictures so we could eat them! They were YUMMY!

Looking for a little feedback. We're looking to do a full color ad in our local paper with something edgy, tied to easter.

The service is actually a funeral theme (since empty tombs mean jack today) but the funeral thing is really brief in the service itself.

Image wise... thoughts?

This is the design for the four panels that I made to hang over the altar. The idea was that a choir of angels was singing "Alleluia" over and over, and their words were suspended in mid-air, sometimes with only some pieces of the word visible. I used six different font styles and six different colors. The angled lines at top and bottom were the edges of the final banners. I hand-tinted the fabric for the letters to get them the colors that I wanted. The letters ranged in size from a few inches to over two feet tall. I used Powerpoint to work out the design.

Easter Monday, a brilliant sunny morning and of course Miss Cheeky dragged Dad out for her morning Riverwalk, and this morning was a particularly long one, she found new things to smell and almost got one of those pesky and fast little black crabs, oh well there is always tomorrow.

Noticed that the word 'pass' exists in a number of Easter-related words, and started playing with one of my favourite typefaces (Serif Gothic)
