Il tema della lezione di ieri era IL CORPO UMANO e LA SALUTE così abbiamo proposto come attività un WEBQUEST circa la cura di alcune malattie.
L'attività consisteva in questo: dopo una lettura sui principali disturbi muscolari (strappi, stiramenti, contusioni, crampi...) ho diviso la classe in gruppi, ciascun gruppo ha avuto un glossario medico e una lista di siti internet certificati. Il loro compito era trovare sui siti indicati una cura per i diversi disturbi, il tutto in italiano ovviamente. L'attività ha avuto discreto successo e gli apprendenti hanno dialogato molto.
Gli obiettivi di questo tipo di attività , che rientrano nell'ambito della didattica per task e per abilità differenziali, sono sviluppare le capacità comunicative, l'autoapprendimento e il lavoro collaborativo in un contesto multiculturale.

Ms Jennifer Sampson, Senior Adviser to the President of the University of Trinidad and Tobago delivering the feature presentation "A Stakeholders Perspective: Past, Present and Future Relations with COL in Trinidad and Tobago" at the Commonwealth of Learning (COL) international forum promoting distance education and open learning, held at The University of the West Indies (UWI) St. Augustine Campus, Trinidad and Tobago on November 24th, under the patronage of University Pro Vice Chancellor and St. Augustine Campus Principal, Professor Clement K. Sankat.
